Update / Transition to SGWM / Vision for CC Huacho & the Tippie Family
Update: We would like to invite all of you to know the Tippie family. We have been missionaries for 4 ½ years in the country of Peru. We started a church in the small town of Huacho, which is about 3 hours north of the city of Lima. We have been working with college students, street kids, skateboarders and surfers in our youth group. We have 4 formal services a week in our church. And we have weekly counseling and fellowship nights as well. My wife is a home school mom, and my son is going into the 6th grade. We have been serving and living by faith! Last October we received the news from our supporting church that they could no longer continue supporting us and we had 4 months until we would have to come back to Florida and regroup and see how we could survive as missionaries. In these four months, we have been pouring into our church like never before, trying to raise up leaders and seek the Lord for the future of this mission. We have some missionary friends who are going to cover for us while we are going to the USA to raise support and seek a mission’s agency.
As we were searching for a mission agency, we talked with about a half a dozen different mission agencies. And we felt drawn towards Saving Grace World Mission for many reasons. We received advice from many pastor’s in California that this was a top notch agency that really cared for their missionaries. The more we found out about SGWM we knew that this was a good fit, and they could provide us with the things that we needed to stay on the mission field. Our gift is working on the mission field, ministering first hand to the people, leading them into a deeper relationship with Christ.
Our transition from no missionary agency to a ministry that is devoted to helping missionaries stay on the mission field is going to be a big blessing. We have felt like we have been trying to re-invent the wheel many times, or felt all alone with nobody who really understands. We are excited to be working with SGWM.
Our vision is to reach, teach and disciple. And when we have healthy disciples we want to raise them up to be leaders in the church, their homes and in the world. Preparing the next generation! As we prepare them we want to be able to send them as well.
Matthew 28:19-20 Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” Amen.
A Note from the Director
Greetings! Allow me to introduce myself. My name is Pastor Mike Thiemann and I have the privilege of leading Saving Grace World Missions and working directly with all our missionaries all over the world.
I wanted to write you a brief note for a couple of reasons. One is to introduce myself and the second is to help answer any questions you might have.
It is the vision and passion of Saving Grace World Missions that our missionaries are the most loved, cared, and prayed for missionaries out there. However, the only way we can accomplish this goal is through all of us linking arms together and doing our individual parts. Craig and Daisy are called by God to minister in Peru and God has called those of us who are at home to send them well. I encourage you to seek the Lord on what your part is. Has God called you to partner with them in prayer or administrative support or financial support? However God has called you to be involved in the Great Commission and in Partnering with them as they serve in Peru, we are here to help you.

There you will have a couple of different option. The main two I would like to highlight is the, “single gift” option and the, “monthly gift option.” The single gift option is there for you if you desire to give a one-time gift and the “monthly gift” option is there if you desire to give on an ongoing basis. If you click that it will ask you what date you would like your gift to be processed (on the 3rd or the 18th). I would highly encourage you to consider the monthly gift option simply because it helps the Tippies’ manage their budgets and know how much is coming in on what day.

All donations are tax deductible and you will receive a donation receipt once a quarter.
