Family of Three!

Big Smiles from Amalia!

After this summer’s school of missions Racquell and I were accepted officially as Saving Grace World Missions Missionaries! This means that along with our sending church, Calvary Chapel Lihue we are being sent out with this missions organization. They will help us with facilitating funds, sending newsletters, as well a support spiritually.

We have been back in our home on Kauai, Hawaii and have been sharing updates with our church Calvary Chapel Lihue and serving in several ministries. Huge answer to prayer we welcomed our baby Amalia Esther Stratton on October 29th she is happy and healthy and keeping us busy.

We were able to serve in our churches children’s ministry for the month of October. Our young adults ministry broke off into small home groups for about 6 weeks and we were privileged to host one in our home right before welcoming Amalia. We were blessed by the fellowship, study and worship that we got to lead and take part in.

Although we’ve been busy in ministry and with our new family we have still been moving forward in preparing for our move to Peru. It is our aim to move to Peru next year in the late spring/early summer to come along side Calvary Trujillo church plant and the Calvary Bible Institute. If you would like to follow the ministry we’re going to be apart of you can follow them @calvaryperu on instagram or find them on Facebook at Calvary Trujillo.

Please continue to pray for our young family as we navigate our new roles of parenthood. Pray for opportunities to continue to serve where we are and prepare for moving away.

A verse that has been on out minds lately is Psalm 127:3-5 which says,

“Behold, children are a gift of the Lord,
The fruit of the womb is a reward.
Like arrows in the hand of a warrior,
So are the children of one’s youth.
How blessed is the man whose quiver is full of them;
They will not be ashamed
When they speak with their enemies in the gate.”

We are receiving this and praying this over our family, praising the Lord for the gift that He has given us and praying that we would train her in His ways.

Ways our church is and can support us.

Thank you for your prayers. If you would like to partner with our family in furtherance of the gospel please consider donating through the link below.

By the grace of Jesus and for His glory,

The Stratton Family of three
