Most of the time when we are in a rush we forget things, no matter how important they may be. But rarely are we grateful to leave something behind. I remember being at a dessert gathering for one of the MTS students at Saving Grace and she shared that when she was at CSOM she was told to write down all your future plans and goals…. and then throw it in the fire (literally). And she shared how she knew if it was the Lord’s plan it would come back and if not, He has an even greater plan. Thus, as I entered this new season of CSOM, I was encouraged by my leaders to come in as a blank piece of paper.I left it all at home. Every desire, every timeline, every expectation, good or bad, all written down and thrown in the fire. Fully surrendered and ready for all that God has for me.

Leading up to CSOM there were a lot of concerns I had that caused unnecessary stress in my life, but in those moments I got to see the Lord provide in awesome ways. While at a meeting with some ladies, they asked for prayer requests and they have all been answered since then! I brought up that I get motion sickness easily and one of the ladies knew of some stuff that would help me and gave it to me and I didn’t get sick once on the car ride!! I also had recently misplaced my inhaler and was unsure how to get a new one before the trip, but I was able to get one from an urgent care right before leaving as well as another medicine I wanted to bring but didn’t think I’d be able to and the Lord totally provided! But I got here safe and every concern I had was completely answered that week and all I have to say is, thank you Jesus!!
With that I have been in awe of God and not only how He provides…but what He has already provided! The free gift of salvation! We were going over what Jesus had to go through.. And His prayer in Matthew 26:39, “He went a little farther and fell on His face, and prayed, saying, ‘O My Father, if it is possible, let this cup pass from Me; nevertheless, not as I will, but as You will’ ”.
And I started to really meditate on that, it brought me to tears. The fact that Jesus died for me, the full wrath of God placed on Jesus in that moment for us. He had us in mind. It was for the sins of the whole world. So why not share it with the world. Which is what I will be focused on these next 6 weeks. All that God has done for us, and how to share it with those around me as we go on outreaches or even speaking with other students. And learning of people who have NEVER heard of that free gift of salvation and what Jesus had done for us.

I also will be learning a new worship song in Spanish each week for my own personal growth and to be able to help at outreaches! So this week I am learning “Dame a Cristo”- Give Me Jesus.
So feel free to ask me how that is going to keep me accountable!
So as I continue to seek God these next 6 weeks I ask that you come alongside me in prayer, as I will need a ton of it! Here are some ways you can partner with me in prayer:
- For a continual surrendered heart
- For this week’s outreach ( visiting people who live in a local dump here) and their hearts to be prepared to hear the Gospel!
- For me to be bold!
- For continual unity within the students and staff
- For me to stay focused on Jesus/Against any distractions
And if you feel led to partner with me financially in this my current needs is for the remainder of my tuition: $2,234. Thank you so much for all your support and love! I am excited to keep you all updated weekly as I am here in Rosarito! Check out my “photos” or “poems” tab on my blog as that will be updated often. And please feel free to reach out to me with prayer requests as well!
Dios te Bendiga!! (God bless you!)
