Praise the Lord!

Greetings to you in the name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Thank you, dear supporters and prayer partners, for your prayers and financial support. We are praying for your family and for your country. By the grace of God my family and I are doing well, God has kept us safe.

Last month we got the chance to visit brother A’s* house. We had fellowship with his family in the Word of God. I got the chance to share the Word of God there.

Brother A* is surfing with pain. He had neck surgery, but the surgery was not good. Since then his whole body is paralyzed. He has been unable to walk or stand up for a year. We are continuing to visit him and pray for him and share the Word of God with him and his family.

Last month our church conducted a children’s program. 50 kids participated. It was a wonderful time with them. The Word of God was shared through songs and a skit.

I met a child named P*. She has a hole in her heart. She has to have an operation. I prayed for her.

I am also teaching a computer class at our Calvary Bible Institute.

Prayer Requests:

• Please pray for my children to grow in Lord’s fear and knowledge and also for their final exams.
• Please pray our house visitation ministry. Please also pray for the students as they share the Word of God. May the Lord use them.
• Please pray for our local village ministry. May the villagers grow in the Lord’s Word.
• Please pray for the youth of our local area to walk in the Lord.
• Please pray for our CBI students to grow in the Word.
• Please pray for the young girl, P*, who has a hole in her heart. Pray that her operation goes well.

Last month we got the chance to visit the brother A*’s house along with a CBI student. We had fellowship with their family in the Word of God. A student who is in his final year of our Calvary Bible Institute shared from the Word of God.

Last month, we conducted a Bible quiz in our church from the books of 1 & 2 Timothy and Titus. Our church members and Bible college students participated. It was a great way to check their knowledge of the Bible.

Last month, we organized a cleaning day along with our students, staff, and church members.

Last month an annual convention was organized by the Christians of the district. We got the chance to lead the convention along with our church brothers. It was a great time to pray for people. Many dedicated their lives to Jesus and decided to walk with the Lord!

Last month, our church organized a one day youth retreat. About 96 young adults participated. They were blessed and renewed by the Word of God.

I have been meditating from the book of Philippians, and learning to have a Christ-like mind. I got the chance to teach this chapter in our Sunday service. 

Last month, I got the chance to visit the brother J*. We had fellowship with his family in the Word of God. Last year, he was in an accident. A truck hit him from the back. He was injured badly and lost his left leg. By the grace of God, he is okay now. He is going to try to get an artificial left leg. 

Last month, I also got the chance to visit a believer’s house. I take the Bible school students to visit families and give them the opportunity to preach and lead worship. We are trying to give them opportunities like this to learn and get prepared for their future ministry. In class, we evaluate their sermons and correct them. We also give them chances to share sermons in believer’s homes. After house visiting also we evaluate their work and correct them, so that they may become better at preaching.

On July 1st, our Calvary Bible Institute classes started. We got 5 new students from different parts of the country. They are from different backgrounds. We thank God for the students who have also joined us again for the 2nd year.

Last Month I got chance to visit another state for a mission trip with Pastor 3*. It is about 250 miles from where I live. While we were traveling to the railroad station on an auto rickshaw, a bus hit our vehicle. By the grace of God, we were safe. No harm came to us.

Our one week of mission trip was so wonderful and blessed. We met all of the believers and their families. We encouraged them with the Word of God and prayed for them.

Last month I got a chance to visit the home of a previous Bible Institute student. We spent some time with his family and had fellowship with him. It was good to see that he is doing ministry while he is also working a job. We also met another Christian brother there who used to smoke. God worked in his heart. He has now quit smoking and attends prayer meetings.

I also got the opportunity to preach at a birthday program last month.

Last month, I got chance to lead the Sunday service in village. I had fellowship with them with the Word of God. I am teaching them from book of Ephesians.

Three new families called us to have home prayer meetings last month. We had fellowship with them. I also got an opportunity to preach at a birthday program last month.

Last month was very difficult time in our area. A radical group tried to stop the house churches. They shut down a few churches with the help of the government authority. The police know this group has the goal to close all of the churches in our district. Because of that, we visited the district collector. We submitted an application to him through the Christian form. By the grace of God, he accepted the application and allowed our churches to conduct prayer. There are still many churches in our area struggling with that.

Last month, in the mist of problem (of churches being attacked) we were able to conduct our graduation program. Five students graduated.

• Please pray for the village ministry in our local area. Pray that the villagers may grow in Lord’s Word.

I got the chance to lead a Sunday service in a village last month (above). I also had fellowship with them with the Word of God. I am teaching them from the book of Ephesians.

Last month, three new families asked us to have house fellowships with them. We had fellowship with each of them them (above).

Last month, I also had the privilege to lead the praise and worship at a meeting organized by the pastor fellowship. About 300 to 400 people came. It was a blessed time.

Last month, I had a chance to lead the Sunday service in B* Village. I had fellowship with them in the Word of God. I am teaching them from the book of Ephesians. 

Two Hindu families were reached with the Gospel during our Christmas outreach. We shared the Gospel with them and prayed for them. 

We had also organized a program for the kids in December (above). Almost 50 kids participated in the program. We shared the Gospel through a skit and songs and prayed for them, then we distributed gifts. We had a wonderful time with them. 

Last month, I also had a chance to visit K* Village (above). The pastor invited me to share the Word of God during their Christmas program. It was a great time of fellowship. There were many new people there that came because of Christmas. We distributed New Testaments and gifts to them and prayed for them. 

As the year was ending, God gave us the opportunity to gather with the believers in our church. We were able to fellowship with them, pray together, and give thanks to God for all the blessings which He gave us in our lives last year…and for adding a new year in our life.

Last month I got chance to organize a one-day youth meeting. God helped the youth to gather there. 200 youth came to the meetings. It was a great time with them to learn the Word of God and worship the Lord.

Praise the Lord!

Greetings to you in the name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Dear partners, thank you for your prayers and financial support. We are praying for your family and your country. By the grace of God, my family and I are doing well; God has kept us safe.

Last month, I had the opportunity to visit the hospital, and I prayed for two brothers, as they were ill and admitted to the hospital.

Also last month, the members of all of the churches in the city organized a peaceful protest rally in support of persecuted Christians in a certain area of our country. Persecution began in that area in May, and since then, more than 300 churches have been burned and many Christians have been killed. Thousands and thousands of Christians have fled to a neighboring state, and and thousands are living in the deep forests to try to save their lives. The government in our country is not doing anything to bring peace in that state.

We had an outing with our church members. We had a good time with them in worship, prayer, and fellowship.

I have finished teaching Ephesians. Now, I am teaching Philippians in our Calvary Bible Institute.

Praise the Lord!

Greetings to you in the name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Thank you, dear partners, for your prayers and financial support. We are praying for your family and for your country. By the grace of God my family and I are doing well. God has kept us safe.

Last month I got the chance to share the Word of God during two different birthday parties and prayed for the people there.

My wife and I also visited a family in a village and prayed for them. The daughter-in-law who lives with the family is expecting a baby. She has been throwing up and not able to eat anything. Because of this, she is very ill and upset. She needed council along with medical treatment. I took my wife there (she is nurse) to give the woman some counselling. We had a nice time with her and prayed for the family. Last month, together with my family, we visited that same family again and had the fellowship with them. We had Bible study and prayed for them.

On July 3rd our new session of the Bible Institute started. We have 4 new students (above). We do not have the facility to accommodate more students.
