Spring 2025 update, a lot has happened since our last newsletter so we wanted to bring you all up to speed. First of all, we are so grateful to God and to you for the way y’all have partnered with us through reading our newsletters, praying for us, encouraging us, being part of our care team, and for your generous financial support. Thank you all so much, it humbles us and reminds us that we are all part of an incredible team God has put together to further the gospel around the world.

We continue to be amazed at how God provides and uses us for the Kingdom and for the furtherance of the gospel. December 2024 was a busy month, Christmas Church services at Saving Grace, Mexico Christmas outreach, our 5th anniversary getaway, family functions along with our normal activities with MTS, missionary care, pastoral duties and hosting weekly life group in our home. We thank God for sustaining our bodies as we are recognizing the fragility in our bones. We keep reminding each other of 2 Corinthians 4:16 Therefore we do not lose heart. Even though our outward man is perishing, yet the inward man is being renewed day by day……Praise be to God! Amen?!
In December, I (Jenn) had an opportunity to coordinate a holiday craft day at our church and help with table decorations for the yearly Christmas Outreach at Calvary Pedregales in Tijuana, Mexico. Our sister serves there at Saving Grace World Missions. We did something different this year by hosting women’s dinner @ Calvary Pedregales. We also were able to bless the children with Christmas shoeboxes. For most households, this is the only gift the children will receive for Christmas. Tim came along as well to help with setting up a beautiful backdrop, disciple the men.

2025 has not been what we thought it would be, we are grateful that God does not follow our plans, but calls us to follow His plan. Normally, we start the year out with staying close to the home front through the holidays serving the body of Calvary Chapel Saving Grace and starting out the new year with a week of prayer and fasting at our home church. Everyone together seeking God’s will, desire and plan for our lives. The last few years we have typically not traveled until May however, like I said, God had different plans this year.
In January we had a wonderful time of prayer and fasting where Jenn and I spent much time seeking the Lord for His will and receiving direction and confirmation on many levels. At the end of January, I Tim was able to go to CBI (Calvary Bible Institute) Philippines to teach a one week block class at the campus in Tagaytay. It was a great time pouring into 9 hungry students seeking to get better equipped to be used by the Lord. I was also able to teach Sunday morning and midweek service. I am grateful to Pastor Tony for the opportunity and for the hard work he is doing in the Philippines.

Another objective of the trip was to scout out the potential of starting a CSOM (Calvary School of Missions) in the Philippines. The school would be aimed at serving those on that side of the world who cannot afford to come to Mexico for six weeks in the summer. After seeing with the Lord would have for us in the Philippines when I got back I felt like Caleb and Joshua when they came back from spying out the promised land … remember what they said
14:27 Then they told him, and said: “We went to the land where you sent us. It truly flows with milk and honey, and this is its fruit.
You probably also remember there were definitely obstacles, but as the people had lost their focus, Caleb and Joshua said
14:30 “Let us go up at once and take possession, for we are well able to overcome it.”
It felt just like seven years ago when we decided to step out and start CSOM Mexico.
Speaking of Mexico, we were able to go for nine days to Zacatecas and Mazatlan, where the focus was on building a deeper relationship with the pastor there whom we believe God would have us partner with to start a SGWM Mexico office and CSOM training facility. Both of these would be all in Spanish. again we really feel this is the direction the Lord would have us go.

We were then able to go to Mazatlan for the annual church planting conference there where Tim taught a workshop on the role of an assistant pastor and we both were able to be involved in much missionary care. We touched base listening to, prayed with and encouraged nine or 10 SGWM missionaries. We were grateful we got to go and thank you all for helping us get there.

Brief look at the next few months:
We move into a very busy for us both in preparation for and launching year seven CSOM (Calvary school of missions).
By the time you read this, Tim will have shoulder surgery repairing some significant damage from a fall in early January.
We will be wrapping up another year of MTS (missions training school)
We appreciate your prayers and are so grateful for you who have already joined us in this area, also If the Lord leads you to partner with us financially, or increase you’re already generous support you can do so by clicking this link- https://sgwm.com/pappas/give/ or mailing your support check to:
