Vincent Family March 2026
Missions Update

Greetings from Mexico. Before I write this update, I wanted to thank you for reading our missions updates each month, your prayers and support mean so much to our family. In the month of February, I was blessed to go on a mission’s trip to the Philippines, a beautiful country that I have never visited before. God has been placing this country on my heart for some time, so when God opened up the door for me to go and host a “Sending Hub” missions and church planting conference, I jumped at the opportunity.

Backtracking a bit, we have several Philippinos in our church that have been asking me to plant a church like Calvary Rosarito in the Philippines for years. Through those contacts, we started an online church planting class two years ago where we had two Philippino Pastors (and two Pastors from Africa) complete our one year program completely online.

Fast-forward to last summer, at our church planting conference in August, I met a new friend named Tony Reyes who is a Philippino-American, that moved back to the Philippines eight years ago to plant a church. While chatting with him at our conference, he invited me to travel to the Philippines to teach the Pastors there about church planting. In February my good friend Paul and I jumped on a plane to head to the Philippines to do that.

We flew into the Capital of Manila and took a two hour drive to a wonderful city called Tagaytay City, which was our ministry headquarters for the next week. The focus was a missions and church planting conference with over 50 local pastors and leaders in attendance. We also got to join my good friends, Pastors Trent and Rob Douglass, and Tim Pappas, from our sending church, Calvary Chapel Saving Grace.

Our generous church was blessed to provide the finances for the conference, along with 25 “Sending Hub” church planting books to donate to each Senior Pastor in Attendance. A personal highlight for me was meeting in person for the first time the two Pastors that had taken our online church planting class. (Pastor’s Jimer and Romel) We also got to encourage several of the young adults in Pastor Tony’s local church that feel called to church plant. We ended our trip by traveling to one of the largest islands in the Philippines where Pastor Tony is planning on planting a church in the near future.

Before we left the islands, we made tentative plans to bring one of our new Philippino friends over to Calvary Rosarito in Mexico to train them up in our ministry class, and then send them right back to plant a church that’s a sending hub. (A church that plants churches, that plants other churches) My missions trip was fruitful and a wonderful success and thank you for partnering with us to send us out.

When I got back from the trip our church was blessed to send out our 44th church plant to a town at the north of the Sea of Cortez called San Felipe! My friend David Mullins was part of our church staff for many years, and completed our church planting class with excellence. Five years ago, we sent his family out to help plant Calvary Loreto, and they did a great job. Now the Mullins family is starting out on their own church planting adventure. Please keep them and their new church plant Calvary San Felipe, in your prayers!

Also in February, we have begun serious negotiations to buy our present church facility. We have been in this wonderful 15,000+ square foot facility that seats 700 in our sanctuary for over 13 years now. The owner has contacted us and told us that she wants to sell. We have a good relationship with her and she is giving us the opportunity to purchase it first before she put’s the property on the market. The problem is here in Mexico, there are no bank loans for churches, so this must be a cash purchase.

The owner is open to have us paying the building off over 5 years, but the asking price right now is north of a million dollars and she is asking for 50% down. I don’t think I need to tell you that even though our ministry has been wise and generous with our church finances and we do have some money put away some in savings, we don’t have anything close to that. We are preparing to start a large capital giving campaign both at our local church and with our friends and ministry partners!
The question that I have been asking myself is why now Lord? Is this the time you want us to step out in faith and purchase this facility? And the answer I and our elders have received from the Lord is yes, this is the time. You see, we are not just buying a church building, but purchasing a missions home base to reach the world with the Gospel. As you know, we have close to 80 churches that have now been planted through our ministry, and that all began right here in Rosarito Mexico. There is not a doubt in my mind that God has a plan to have many of us come together to purchase this building. And although this will require a miracle, our God is the God of miracles!

I am working with some friends and we have come up with a beautiful full color Note-book that clearly explains the reasons behind the building purchase and the wonderful opportunity that God has placed before us. If you would like for me to mail that note-book to you so you can read in detail the opportunity to purchase the building, please contact me and I will get it out to you. If you have any ideas or wisdom for me on how to raise and secure the funds, or to get a private loan from a ministry partner that would give us some flexibility to pay back the loan over time, I would love to hear from you!

Finally, I want to thank you once again for your partnership with our family here in the ripe mission fields of Mexico. It is through your prayers, that God meets our spiritual needs, and through your financial partnership that God meets our physical needs. Thank you!

Con mucho amor de Mexico, (with much love from Mexico)
Mike, Sarah, Grace, and Daniel
