And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony, and they did not love their lives to the death.
Revelation 12:11
Dear Friends, Family, and Loved Ones,
The last week of hearing the testimonies of current missionaries on the field has been exciting! We have had many people come to teach classes and give their testimony. The R Family are two missionaries from Africa who came to help disciple us. Their experience in a Muslim country has given us invaluable knowledge about reaching this people group. Pastor Bond and Heather visited and shared about their works of planting churches and Bible schools all around India, Nepal, Pakistan, and more. Pastor EZ from Living Waters shared about the calling of every Christian to a full-time ministry of being an ambassador of Jesus, the heart to always share the gospel. Through all of these men and women, we have gotten an inside view of the work of missions.

I woke up exhausted and in a bad mood on Tuesday. I had felt tired from the past few weeks of schooling and outreaches, and did not feel spiritually ready for the outreach to the LAC ministries rehab center. So, I did the only thing I could, pray for strength, the right attitude and opportunities to share with the people. We arrived, and though it was tight, uncomfortable, awkward, and hot, God gave me such a heart for the people, most of whom were drug addicts. We began by singing worship. As we did, I laughed a little inside as I heard the claps that were all out of unison. When we finally sat down to talk in groups, we got to give the gospel to the men and answer a lot of their questions. We asked a question at the beginning: where are you going when you die? Most of the men said they did not know, one said hell, and others said heaven. It hurt to hear those answers, but I am so glad we were afterwards able to show them the love and gift of Jesus’ atonement and to pray for them.

On Saturday we travelled an hour away to the Kumiai Indian Reserve to do an outreach. After a rocky drive, we met with the local church and got ready by packing rice and beans for the locals. Students shared a teaching for the kids and adults and some testimonies, and we did a short drama.

Prayer Requests:
- God’s protection and provision for the next week, especially as we fly to Mazatlan.
- More opportunities to share God’s word and love to those around us.
Praise Reports:
- Continued provision for the many teachers and guests who have taught
- Many baptisms this Sunday at Calvary Rosarito, and being able to help assist with all the church happenings.
