December 2022

“She will bear a Son; and you shall call His name Jesus, for He will save His people from their sins.”

Matthew 1:21

With love and fondness we want to wish you a Merry Christmas! May God reveal Himself to you more and more as we all celebrate our deliverance from the bondage of sin. Let God magnify in our hearts the meaning of His son’s name, the mission He accomplished on the earth; that we might renew our thankfulness and joyfully display His love to our neighbors.

God has blessed our family with a little R&R. Because we have no classes for the School of Discipleship in December, we have taken the opportunity to move to Gulu City for the month. During this time we are staying in the duplex of another missionary family who have four children very close in age and interests to our own. Even as I (Matt) am writing this I am watching them play together in the yard. We hope that when we move back into our home and our work in January, we will go back with new strength, fresh vision, better habits and rejuvenated souls. Also, our ministry surprised us with three nights of room and board on Mount Elgon Uganda where we were hiking, playing, swimming, eating and sleeping. We haven’t put all of ministry on hold, but this month has provided the chance to realign ourselves so that we might live worthy of our calling.

54 pastors from 24 churches attended our annual Northern Uganda Calvary Chapel Pastors Conference
Please be advised that our sending organization, Saving Grace World Mission, will soon be switching to a new online-giving platform in this new year, which will affect ALL recurring donations. We will keep you updated throughout the transition.
Merry Christmas!
