As a family we have decided to visit the churches of our students and friends once a month to see how they are doing and to bring them some encouragement from Gods Word. With the permission of each pastor we have also decided to allow you to join us on that journey so that you will be more informed as you think about and pray for the churches of Uganda. We pray that these short Pastoral Bios would encourage you in your walk with God and that you would grow in your love for Jesus as you see how he is moving in the hearts of so many people!
Pastor David Kizito Came to know the Lord at a very young age when a preacher told him that God had a plan for his life. David took the Gospel to heart and has tried to spread the good news in many ways to the people around him. In May of 2017, Adak Bible Community Church planted Odongkicel Bible Community Church and placed David at it’s head. About 90 people there share the vision of preaching the Gospel, teaching the Word of God, and planting future branch churches. David, his wife Julian, and their baby Heaven are our neighbors in Adak Village, and David is one of our employees at our Business As a Mission. In the future we hope to have him as one of our students at the Pastoral School of Discipleship, but for now we enjoy discussing the Bible together at work.
Pray for Odongkicel Bible Community Church:
- That the members would be firmly planted in the Word of God and filled with love.
- For the family’s of the church to be strong in the Lord.
- Pray that the congregation would be unified in their vision of spreading the Gospel and planting future churches.
