Christians are still persecuted,
Prayers are still answered and
Jesus still saves.
WARNING THIS POST CONTAINS VIOLENCE AND SENSITIVE INFORMATION.
“Did you know when you become a Christian, you are promised wealth, health and a problem free life?…”
A deception many of us have accepted. It was costly in the days of the Apostles, and it is still costly today. Many American Christians believe that persecution doesn’t happen anymore, but it does, and The Word of God is very clear. Trial, tribulation, suffering and persecution are a part of this walk, just as much as peace, joy, love, mercy and grace.
“Yes, and all who desire to live godly in Christ Jesus will suffer persecution.” -II Timothy 3:12 NKJV
“Then they will deliver you (disciples) up to tribulation and kill you, and you will be hated by all nations for My (Jesus) name’s sake.” – Matthew 24:9 NKJV
70 Christians Persecuted In (DRC)
Less than a month ago, February 13, 2025, militants rounded up 70 Christians in the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC). All 70 captives were taken to a Protestant church in Kasanga where they were killed inside with machetes and hammers…I know it’s hard to believe. But this is the dark reality for many Christians around the world. Remember your brothers and sisters around the world, who don’t have the freedoms that we do and remember to pray for them.
The Power of Prayer
We as a church seen the hand of God move on a threat this last month. In Southern Asia there was a planned persecution on Christians, from a Radical Religious group. The Radical Religious group was planning to kill all Christians in the area as well as assault all the Christian women. The Radical Religious group had protection from the government as well, so there would be no charges for any of these demonic acts. This was devastating news to hear from brothers living in this area, that we personally knew. The planned attack was going to happen on March 1st. We gathered as a church the week before and prayed that God would move and protect His people.

And He did.
We got the amazing news March 1st that the Radical Group changed their mind. This doesn’t mean that the hostility towards Christians in this area has totally ended as there is still much persecution happening in this area; But this brutal March 1st massacre, was stopped. And the brothers and sisters in this area are claiming it as answered prayer. So, we will join with them in praising our Great God, who sees, hears and answers according to His will.
Due to security reasons, I can’t disclose the detailed information of the place and people, but if you email me privately, I can send you a link with more detailed information.
Jesus saves
Despite all the evil, God is still saving souls. I had the privilege of leading a girl to Christ. Every Thursday a small team and I go evangelizing at local college. This last time we went, me and a friend asked a girl about what she believed about God and the afterlife. She knew there was a God but didn’t know how to come to Him or be accepted by Him. After bringing forth the reality of sin, the penalty of sin, the Sacrifice of Christ and the love of God. I asked her if she would like to accept Christ and she said yes. After sharing with her the totality of being a Christian, repentance, faith, eternal union with God and unavoidable hardships, we prayed, and she has placed her faith in The Lord Jesus Christ. Please be praying for her, her name is Giselle.

conclusion
Being a Christian is hard…but it’s also beautiful.
Why? Because we walk with God and by faith in Jesus Christ we will overcome all things. (1 John 5:4-5)
He turns our trials into wisdom, tribulations into endurance, suffering into glory, persecutions into perseverance and our deaths into eternal life.
“These things I have spoken to you, that in Me (Jesus) you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world.”” – John 16:33 NKJV
