Mission In Mexico, Calling Laborers To The Harvest!

“ Then He said to them, “The harvest truly is great, but the laborers are few; therefore pray the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into His harvest. “
‭‭Luke‬ ‭10‬:‭2‬ ‭NKJV‬

Jesus spoke of our current reality. That there would be a great harvest (lost souls waiting to hear about the message of eternal life) and few who would carry it to them. Today there is over 3.5 billion unreached ( They have no access to a Bible, Church, Christians and have never heard The Gospel or even the name of Jesus Christ.) These are human beings just like you and me who will someday die and enter into eternity without ever having the chance to choose Christ.

“How then shall they call on Him in whom they have not believed? And how shall they believe in Him of whom they have not heard? And how shall they hear without a preacher?”
‭‭Romans‬ ‭10‬:‭14‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

They are waiting to hear about The God who loves them, sees them and died to be with them.

Who will go, and who will tell them?

Answering The Call

It was this time last year I was preparing to go outside of the country for the very first time. I was heading to Mexico, to attend the Calvary School Of Missions. A Six Week School that Introduces you to Missions. A School that changed my life. I learned about the reality of The Unreached, The Great Commission, what Missions look like Biblically and practically and so much more. It was in those Six Weeks God showed me surrender isn’t just a one time moment with Jesus Christ, but surrender is moment by moment. And I said yes to His call.

CSOM CLASS 2024

God gave us His Spirit not so we could live a comfortable life and await heaven, but so we could live for His Glory and carry His name to The Ends Of The Earth.

“But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be witnesses to Me in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth.””
‭‭Acts‬ ‭1‬:‭8‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

MADE INTO A FISHER OF MEN

Then He (Jesus) said to them, “Follow Me, and I will make you fishers of men.” – Matthew 4:19

This year marks five years, since laying down my life on God’s altar and receiving His Son, Jesus the Christ as my Lord. Hallelujah!

The moment I breathed out the confession of surrender, God breathed His Holy Spirit into me, and I was born again. In a moment I was taken from death to life, The world received a new hue and everything around me became radiant, I was consumed by an inexpressible joy and a peace that went beyond understanding. The unperceived void in me that I had been trying to fill and satisfy with the empty treasures of the world was suddenly and instantaneously filled, it was a God sized space in my inner being that was made for my Creator. My heart transformed from stone to flesh, and my mind became enlightened with the knowledge of The Holy One. The veil was torn and finally I could see, it was Him that I had been searching and longing for all this time.

The One Who is The Way in this lost world, The Truth in all of the deception and lies, and The Life in the valley of the shadow of death- the One who holds immortality and eternity in the palms of His hands. The True Love of the soul.

He is, The Lord Jesus Christ. –

He became my purpose, and I knew from that moment on, that I needed to follow Him and tell the world about Him.

Making me a fisher of men

Hello Beloved, I pray this Newsletter finds you in peace and in the love of Christ!

Meeting Ray Comfort

God has been moving in awesome ways in my life recently and I’m excited to share with you! The first major things God allowed, was for me to meet Ray Comfort! When I gave my life to Jesus, it was not in your traditional spot. I didn’t meet Him at an altar call or a crusade, but in my bedroom, in the middle of the pandemic. When I became born again, I instantly knew I needed to share Christ…but I didn’t have anyone to disciple me on how to do it. So, I did what all young people do when they don’t know how to do something, I went to YouTube. And there I found Ray Comfort. One of the greatest evangelists of our day. Ray’s evangelism style was biblical, bold, brilliant and effective! Watching his videos educated and encouraged me to share Christ, giving me my first lessons in being a fisher of men. Those first steps would later turn into my Missionary calling, starting in my own community and now to the ends of the earth. Five years later God in His Sovereignty brought me to California and connected me to Ray through the community I’m currently serving with. Talk about full circle moments. I was able to go to The Living Water Ministry and meet the entire team and say thank you to Ray for being faithful to God’s call on his life.

Making friends with a Muslim

Another amazing opportunity God has given me is to meet, befriend and be regularly in communication with a Muslim named R. I met R about a month ago while at the beach. I engaged him with compassion and curiosity, asking him about himself and his beliefs, and R responded with the same response. We went back and forth on The Bible and The Qur’an. Respectfully rejecting where we had disagreements. I asked R if he would be interested in meeting up and communicating regularly to discuss what we believed, and he said yes. Please be praying for The Holy Spirit to move and to give me the patience, compassion and wisdom to navigate this new friendship. And for R’s eyes to be opened to the truth.

Becoming Debt Free and Praying to See.

Last and certainly not least God did a huge miracle and provided the money for me to become debt free! A reality for Missionaries, is that you can’t go to the mission field with debt. So, my debt was a huge hinderance to me being sent out but God in His great grace and kindness supplied the money. And now I can begin the process of preparation for being sent! I’m coming to the end of my 1st year in Missionary Training School and will have the opportunity to return to Southern Asia to pray and see. My desire is to go Southern Asia for an extended vison tour and come alongside the established works and disciple, serve, teach and encourage. A few more doors and vision tours may be opening as well. Please, please, please be in prayer that The Father would show me exactly where He wants me to be.

Prayer Requests:

  • Pray for R to see Jesus as He is
  • That God would save thousands upon thousands of Children, Women and Men across the world
  • That God would reveal where He would have me serve long-term
  • For my walk with Jesus to remain intimate and that I would abide in Him

TEACHING THE KIDS ABOUT THE KING

But Jesus said, “Let the little children come to Me ” – Matthew 19:14

Jesus loves children and has given them to us, to give back to Him—to raise them up in His way and in His Word.

It was the faithfulness of my grandmother, teaching me about Jesus from a very young age and praying for me day and night, that God used to save me and bring me to Himself at 24 years old.

Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old, he will not depart from it.
(Proverbs 22:6)

Children’s Ministry

Hello Beloved, I pray this update finds you in peace and in the love of God.

Glory to God, I’m still training for missions in Southern California. The Biblical Model for missions is long-term church planting and the Missionary Training School I’m attending is equipping us to do just that. Teaching us how to serve, teach, disciple, lead, create events and the variety of ministries that it takes to run a church. A ministry I recently stepped into was Children’s Ministry. Each Wednesday night at church, I serve with the children in a program called AWANA. In AWANA we teach the children scripture, eternal truths, how to memorize scripture and are training them up in the way that they should walk with Jesus. A joyous and sacred gift it has been, to teach little souls about The One who has created them. Training up the next generation of Servants, Missionaries, Pastors and Evangelist who will continue to carry the light of The Gospel of Jesus Christ.

Resurrection Sunday with the kids

Happy Resurrection Sunday, He is risen! By the time you’re reading this that Sunday will have passed but that truth of old is still relevant, glorious and worthy of remembering every day. Jesus who was crucified for the sins of the world is…alive! Hallelujah! My Resurrection Sunday was spent serving the children. A small team of us, spent the service teaching the children the true meaning of ” Easter ” and rejoicing with the kids in The Resurrection of Jesus Christ.

Prayer Requests:

  • That God would save thousands upon thousands of Children, Women and Men across the world
  • That God would reveal where He would have me serve long-term
  • For my walk with Jesus to remain intimate and that I would abide in Him
  • That God would protect and provide spiritually, physically, and financially
  • That I would walk in His perfect will for my life
  • That God would help me to clear my debt

Three Truths:

Christians are still persecuted,

Prayers are still answered and

Jesus still saves.

WARNING THIS POST CONTAINS VIOLENCE AND SENSITIVE INFORMATION.

“Did you know when you become a Christian, you are promised wealth, health and a problem free life?…”

A deception many of us have accepted. It was costly in the days of the Apostles, and it is still costly today. Many American Christians believe that persecution doesn’t happen anymore, but it does, and The Word of God is very clear.  Trial, tribulation, suffering and persecution are a part of this walk, just as much as peace, joy, love, mercy and grace.

“Yes, and all who desire to live godly in Christ Jesus will suffer persecution.” -‭‭II Timothy‬ ‭3‬:‭12‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

“Then they will deliver you (disciples) up to tribulation and kill you, and you will be hated by all nations for My (Jesus) name’s sake.” – Matthew‬ ‭24‬:‭9‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

70 Christians Persecuted In (DRC)

Less than a month ago, February 13, 2025, militants rounded up 70 Christians in the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC). All 70 captives were taken to a Protestant church in Kasanga where they were killed inside with machetes and hammers…I know it’s hard to believe. But this is the dark reality for many Christians around the world. Remember your brothers and sisters around the world, who don’t have the freedoms that we do and remember to pray for them.

The Power of Prayer

We as a church seen the hand of God move on a threat this last month. In Southern Asia there was a planned persecution on Christians, from a Radical Religious group. The Radical Religious group was planning to kill all Christians in the area as well as assault all the Christian women. The Radical Religious group had protection from the government as well, so there would be no charges for any of these demonic acts. This was devastating news to hear from brothers living in this area, that we personally knew. The planned attack was going to happen on March 1st. We gathered as a church the week before and prayed that God would move and protect His people.

And He did.

We got the amazing news March 1st that the Radical Group changed their mind. This doesn’t mean that the hostility towards Christians in this area has totally ended as there is still much persecution happening in this area; But this brutal March 1st massacre, was stopped. And the brothers and sisters in this area are claiming it as answered prayer. So, we will join with them in praising our Great God, who sees, hears and answers according to His will.

Due to security reasons, I can’t disclose the detailed information of the place and people, but if you email me privately, I can send you a link with more detailed information.

Jesus saves

Despite all the evil, God is still saving souls. I had the privilege of leading a girl to Christ. Every Thursday a small team and I go evangelizing at local college. This last time we went, me and a friend asked a girl about what she believed about God and the afterlife. She knew there was a God but didn’t know how to come to Him or be accepted by Him. After bringing forth the reality of sin, the penalty of sin, the Sacrifice of Christ and the love of God. I asked her if she would like to accept Christ and she said yes. After sharing with her the totality of being a Christian, repentance, faith, eternal union with God and unavoidable hardships, we prayed, and she has placed her faith in The Lord Jesus Christ. Please be praying for her, her name is Giselle.

conclusion

Being a Christian is hard…but it’s also beautiful.

Why? Because we walk with God and by faith in Jesus Christ we will overcome all things. (1 John 5:4-5)

He turns our trials into wisdom, tribulations into endurance, suffering into glory, persecutions into perseverance and our deaths into eternal life.

“These things I have spoken to you, that in Me (Jesus) you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world.”” – ‭‭John‬ ‭16‬:‭33‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

Prayer Requests:

‭‭

  • Pray for the believer’s in DRC, for God to protect, touch, heal, restore,  comfort and provide anything and everything they need.
  • For our persecuted brothers and sisters around the world
  • Giselle’s Faith and The New Birth, (John 3:3)
  • That God would save thousands upon thousands of Children, Women and Men across the world
  • That God would reveal where He would have me serve long-term
  • For my walk with Jesus to remain intimate and that I would abide in Him
  • That God would protect and provide spiritually, physically, and financially
  • That I would walk in His perfect will for my life
  • That God would help me to clear my debt

THE FIRE WITHIN US, AROUND US AND BEFORE US

“For this reason, I remind you to fan into flame the gift of God, which is in you through the laying on of my hands, for God gave us a spirit not of fear but (a Spirit) of power and love and self-control.”
2 Timothy 1:6-7 ESV

In this passage of scripture The Apostle Paul is encouraging and instructing his disciple Timothy not to be afraid of what he (Timothy) may have to endure for his faith in Jesus. And to remember what and Who lives with in him. (1 COR 3:16)

The Spirit of God was living in Him, The One who has created all things and is called a Consuming Fire. (HEB 12:29)
Who has chosen us to be His vessels and dwelling place in the earth.
He who by His divine power was working in Paul’s life, Timothy’s life and now ours.
To take the burning light of The Gospel of Jesus Christ to the ends of the earth.
(ACTS 1:8)

(WEEK OF PRAYER AND FASTING)

Hello Beloved, I pray this update finds you in peace and in the love of God.

January began with a beautiful time of fanning to flame our faith as a church and preparing our bodies, minds, hearts and souls; for all that The Lord wanted to do in us and through us for 2025. We fasted and prayed for a week as a church, the type and length was your choice but as a community we set our face to seek God and pray. We prayed for America, Our Government, The Church and The World. It was a time of humbling ourselves before God seeking Him to heal the land and a time for us to be unified as The Body of Christ.

(MINISTRY OPPURTUNITITES)

God has also given me awesome ministry opportunities. Our Missions School was invited to several conferences where we setup a booth to stir others up for missions, and I was also invited to speak with a friend at a mission’s week at a Christian middle school.
The first conference was a Church Planting Conference to learn about biblical church planting. The second was an Expository Preaching Conference held by John Miller and Skip Heitzig. My favorite opportunity by far was the Missions Week at the Christian Middle School, me and my friend got to share about Southern Asia and The Great Commission, getting the next generation fired up for Jesus and the lost.

(Pray for L.A)

As many of you know L.A experienced one of the worst wildfires in its history, that evacuated over 200,000 people from their homes, that burned over 57,660 acres in total and destroyed 16,000 structures in counting and took 29 lives. It is very tragic.
The area I live in was not affected, but I was able to join a relief team hosted by Calvary Chapel Monrovia. We went into the affected areas and ministered with food and supplies to emergency responder’s and people in the community who stayed with their property. The fires are 100% contained, but prayers are still desperately needed for the restoration of and healing of the communities.

As sad as it was to see, it was a sobering reminder of the fate of this world. The first time God judged The Sin of the earth it was with water; the second time will be with fire. (2 PET 3:7) All of our homes, money, “treasures “all of it will be destroyed.
I spoke to one man who lived in the affected area and managed to save his home.
I asked him “if he knew Jesus? “
and after conversing a bit I realized he didn’t. And the sad reality set in. This man was able to save his temporary home… but if he died that day his eternal soul would’ve been destroyed in the fire that can’t be quenched. (MARK 8:36)

We must tell the world about Jesus, for there is salvation in no one and nothing else.

I wasn’t hoping for this…

I wasn’t hoping for this…

Sometimes things don’t go as planned, and when hardships, trouble, and trials arise—as they will—remember the words of our Lord Jesus: to count it all joy (James 1:2) and that in Him, we have peace by faith (John 16:33). As we trust in His grace, goodness, and faithfulness,

For He is the God of hope.

“Now may the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that you may abound in hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.”
Romans 15:13 NKJV

Blessings to you, beloved,

I have officially been living in Yorba Linda, California, for about two months, and it’s been a bumpy yet wonderful ride so far.

After landing at LAX from Southern Asia, I began getting my life situated in Yorba Linda. I was excited and feeling incredibly blessed. I had a job lined up, support to sustain me, and had just come from an amazing experience in a new country. But as Jesus said, “You will have troubles in this life,” and as Christians, we are either in a trial, coming out of one, or heading into one.

Within three days of my return, I reached out to my potential employer only to find out the position had been taken. My support was inaccessible, my family called to inform me of trouble back home, my car’s check engine light came on, and the diagnosis revealed it needed a new transmission, which would cost me 3,000 dollars to fix…
This wasn’t the beginning I was hoping for, and I was tempted to say:

“Lord, I’m doing the will of God; shouldn’t I be receiving favor and blessing? Lord, I left all to follow You; why are You letting this happen to me?”

It’s easy for us to fall into the snare of believing that our obedience equals a life of ease—and that is simply not true. Trial, testing and temptations are just apart of this life.

So, what did I do to overcome? I remembered the cross. I remembered His promises in His Word, I remembered His love for me and how circumstances don’t define it or Him.
And in His faithfulness, He turned it all around.

In the coming weeks, I found two jobs, my support came in, I received news that God was moving in the lives of my family back home, and I got a call that my check engine light had gone off and my transmission was miraculously okay.

Great is His faithfulness.

I miss my family and church community, but in the meantime, God has blessed me with such a special community that loves Him, each other, and the lost. I feel so blessed to be a part of the work that God is doing here.

Most of my time is spent serving, training and being equipped for the field with this wonderful body of believers—on Sundays, at church events, evangelistic outreaches, missionary training classes, and in sweet fellowship.

The other part of my time is spent working at Samaritan’s Purse, an organization that sends Christmas presents to children all over the world—with the greatest gift of all
:an invitation to receive Jesus Christ.

Operation Christmas Child is a ministry that invites churches to fill shoeboxes with Christmas gifts for children ages 2–14 years of age. Samaritan’s Purse collects these shoeboxes and sends them to children all over the world. But it’s not just about the gifts—it’s about The Gift of Salvation.

Along with the shoebox, children also receive the gospel and are invited to receive Christ. If they do, the children are discipled, taught about their faith, and shown how to share it with others. Samaritan’s Purses heart for operation Christmas Child is evangelism, discipleship and multiplication.

Since 1993, Samaritan’s Purse has sent out over 220 million shoeboxes, that is 220 million Gospel invitations and counting. These shoeboxes are reaching the ends of the earth, including many unreached areas.

What a journey it has been so far!

I am so thankful for the grace of God that has sustained me and excited for what lies ahead.

Prayer Requests:

– That God would save thousands upon thousands of Children, Women and Men through the ministry of Samaritan’s Purse – That God would reveal where He would have me serve long-term
– For my walk with Jesus to remain intimate and that I would abide in Him
– That God would protect and provide spiritually, physically, and financially
– That I would walk in His perfect will for my life

If you have any prayer requests, please click “respond” at the end of my newsletter, and it will be sent directly to my email: Haggstromdeprii@gmail.com.

” WHAT ARE YOU DOING BRO? “

It is written

I am made all things to all men, that I might by all means save some.

– 1 Corinthians 9:22

There I was just trying to be all things, to all men. Conforming to a culture that does the majority of its eating with their right hands. By rolling rice, meat and various sauces into small balls and bringing it to their mouth. While attempting to mimic this eating technique (In my mind decently, since the food was making it into my mouth) I hear from my Southern Asian Brother, who is sitting across from me say

” What are you doing bro? ” LOL

My Vision Tour of Souther Asia

Why Southern Asia?

I went because of God. I never had any intentions of going to Southern Asia. Before going, all that came to mind when I thought of Southern Asia, was it being a hot, dangerous and dirty place and I had very little interest in it. But about six months ago, a burden that I never had before arose in my heart for Southern Asia, and its still here. After coming to a new place of surrender with God, one door led to another, and there I was on a three-week tour of Southern Asia.

How was time my in Southern Asia?

Eye opening, Challenging and Awesome! It was a completely different world. Eating with my hands, Bathrooms having no toilet paper (On purpose) No showers (Just a bucket that you fill up and splash yourself with) Pedestrians, Motorcycles, Cars and Cows all sharing the road at the same time. It was wild a place…but there was a part of me that felt like I was supposed to be there. I instantly fell in love with the people; especially with the believers who labor in such a hostile environment but shine with the love, joy and light of Jesus Christ.

The Gospel and Southern Asia

Southern Asia is within the 10/40 window and is considered unreached. The work is massive, with there being 3.5 billion people who have never heard The Eternal Gospel of Jesus Christ, and half of them live in this country. There are people within this Country that have never heard the name of Jesus Christ. And unfortunately might not have the opportunity. It is illegal to become Christian and the persecution can be brutal. My heart broke as I seen the great need for The Gospel of Jesus Christ. The emptiness and hopelessness that were in the people, as they worshipped cows, statues and small sculptures and carvings made with their own hands. They want to know God they just don’t know how…but this is why Christ came, to declare The Father and make Him known. And as The Father sent Jesus, He is sending us.

Prayer and Conclusion

My time in Southern Asia has come to an end and Lord willing I will be back. God has transformed my heart for this place and its people, and if this is what He has for me I say, yes. My vision for being here would be to disciple the young men and women, who are here, and help them to grow in the grace and knowledge of Jesus Christ. The encouraging part about being here was hearing from the national believers and they all said ” God is on the move, and many are coming to Jesus. ” But they need help. My next steps are to complete a cross-cultural ministry school, held by Saving Grace Calvary Chapel where I will be trained up for the ministry.

Prayer Request:

– Pray that Southern Asia would receive The Gospel
– Pray for our brothers and sisters living in Southern Asia doing full time ministry
– Pray against persecution
– Pray against Conversion Laws
– If God is calling me there, that He would open a door.
– That God would bring Provision Spiritually, Physically and Financially

If you have prayer requests please press respond at the end of my newsletter and it will be sent to my email. Haggstromdeprii@gmail.com

I want to thank everyone who has partnered in making this mission happen. I am so excited to share this journey with you all as we fulfill the Great Commission. Stay tuned for all that the Lord is doing.

and may we all continue to faithfully follow, love, obey and walk,
