Old, Young, and Kids; All Ages Need Jesus!

So they said, “Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and you will be saved, you and your household.” (Acts 16:31)

Praying with a New Believer

We are seeing people being saved through the power of the Holy Spirit! Their entire households are getting saved! One family, who was Buddhist, came to Christ last year. God has blessed their life abundantly and they are sharing their faith with their family and neighborhood. A month after they accepted Christ, there was a Big Buddhist Festival. The family decided to go shepherd their cattle instead of facing the pressure to worship a false god and do Buddhist rituals. I was amazed how they reacted to such a big challenge in their life! Please keep praying for this family to be so strong in their faith and in God’s Word.

Then the word of the Lord came to me, saying: “Before I formed you in the womb I knew you; Before you were born I set you apart; I ordained you a prophet to the nations.” Then said I: “Ah, Lord God! Behold, I cannot speak, for I am a youth.” But the Lord said to me: “Do not say, ‘I am a youth,’ For you shall go to all to whom I send you, And whatever I command you, you shall speak. Do not be afraid of their faces, For I am with you to deliver you,” says the Lord. (Jeremiah 1:4-8)

The Students with a Hiking Group

These young men (our students) are sold out for Jesus. They want to learn the Word of God, preach the Word of God, and teach the Word of God. These guys have left their home towns–their family, friends, property and riches of the world. They have come to learn the Word of God and to be approved to teach the Word. All these guys walk along side each other, pray together, learn together, worship together, fight for truth together, play together, laugh together, cry together and sing together.Recently these guys went  for a hike on a tall mountain, where they prayed for the city.  Five million people live in this city. We spent time worshiping God and thanking Him for what He is doing in this city. They were asking God to make them Salt and Light to their community.

“Can a woman forget her nursing child, And not have compassion on the son of her womb? Surely they may forget,  Yet I will not forget you. See, I have inscribed you on the palms of My hands; Your walls are continually before Me. (Isaiah 49:15-16)

Spending Time With the Children

In the city, there are a lot of children who are raised by a single mom. These children are raised without a father and we are helping them. These kids go to government school. In government schools, teachers never care for the children. I often see these kids walking around wearing their school uniforms during school time, and they are on the streets at night. We became friends with some of these children because we see each other a lot. We love to have tea and biscuits with them and share the story of Jesus with them. When we started to talk about their fathers they said, “we hate the word father”. They have never experienced the love of a father. But we believe that the Holy Spirit will teach them about our good good Father, when we tell them about God. We are telling them of a perfect dad, our heavenly Father, who never leaves us and never forsakes us.

Thank you,
