Aniku Family – Uganda

We want to praise God for all of you! Your prayers are coveted and answered.

For this month please pray:
– For the Koinonia Center. We hope to finish it this year.
– For the school farm. That area received too much rain, which may spoil our planted beans for the children.
– For the sports ministry. The professional league is starting this month. We pray God will be glorified and for lives changed.
– For the renewal of our NGO status for the church; for God’s favor as the government is getting strict with so many fake NGOs.
– For Vincent’s dual citizenship papers and also for the work permits of our intern, worship leader, and the worship leader’s wife.  For our health. I will be seeing a doctor in the capital.

Thank you!

Prayer requests from Oaxaca!

– Please pray for the health of Sandra and Natalia, two women in our church who are very sick. And please pray for their families.
– Please pray for continued unity within the church.
– Please pray for the opportunity for us to one day buy a van or a bigger car for the church. Many people here don’t have cars and when we have events, there isn’t enough transportation. Also, when teams come, this would be a huge help. Our personal car has been having lots of problems since we got it.

– Please pray that the Lord would continue to grow the men and women who are leaders in the church in their walks with Him.

Thank you for keeping us in your prayers while we have the blessing of serving the Lord here in Oaxaca.

Prayer Requests:

– Pray for the believers in our village, that they will be stronger in the Gospel of the Lord and not misled by anyone.
– Pray for “Th” village, a very large village. The people there consider themselves to be of high caste. There is a lot of untouchability and discrimination here, and idol worship. Pray that the Lord will change the hearts of those to whom I have preached the Gospel. Pray that they will know the truth and that many souls will be saved in the village.
– Pray for me, that when I visit “Th” village, no demonic force will stop me. Also pray that I will be able to spread the Gospel of Jesus there very boldly, so that everyone will know the truth.
– Pray for a new family who have just opened a shop in the market and have given their lives to the Lord. Pray that the Lord will take care of them and support them in their sorrows when people bring trouble into their lives. Pray that they will believe in the Lord and no satanic force will mislead them.
– Next to our village is a small village where a young widow and her young children live. I have preached the Gospel to her, and she believes in the Lord. Pray that she will completely surrender to the Lord and that God will help her with all of the problems in her life—health and financial related.
– Pray for me, that the Lord will open new doors and give me new villages to go to, and that many souls will be saved. Pray for my health, that I will be fully healed so that I can perform my ministry well.
– Pray for my church building that is not yet complete. Some things remain to be finished, like lighting, doors and tiles. May God work things out so that they will happen quickly.
– Pray for the region I live in. It is raining a lot this time of year. Landslides are happening everywhere. Pray that God will take care of us during this time and protect us, and that we can spread the Gospel to all the superstitious so that they will know the truth.
– Please pray for my mom. She has been in the hospital for 9 days. She had typhoid fever, and she has not fully recovered. Pray that the Lord will heal her completely.
– Pray for my elder brother and his wife, who is a believer. Both of them are not in good health; pray for healing. My elder brother was preparing for a civil services job, and due to his health he is not able to do the preparations well. My sister-in-law has a heart related problem and is on daily medication. My whole family is ill. Pray to the Lord to give good health to my family.

May the Lord bless you! Praise the Lord! Hallelujah!

Thank you!

Worker 11 – 10/40 Window

Praise Points:

– A family in our church was persecuted. The grandfather, who did not believe, gathered the people of the whole village and called the police to get his son and his family out of the village. But the police fully supported the family in our church and said that they could not stop anyone from believing in Christ. The family is in their village now. Praise the Lord!
– Glory to God, there has been no flooding in our area yet!

Prayer Points:

– Please pray that God strengthens our church members in faith, and that they can understand the Word more deeply.
– In the days ahead, we will be going to many new places to spread the good news. May God help us and protect us and fulfill every need.
– Please pray for our protection from Hindu fundamentalists. Hindu festival season started in my place; during that time, they attack churches and pastors.
– A land survey is going to be done in our village. Many different people are claiming that the land where our church is built is their land. The court case about it has been going on for about 20 years.

May God help us so that no injustice happens to us.

May God bless you all!

Prayer Requests:

– The capital city of our state (where I live) is a big hub for people. People from different parts of the state live here. Pray that we can share the Word of God to each of them, that people can get saved, and that the Gospel will spread to the rest of the state!
– Pray for the places where we are serving. May God’s glory be made known in these places. Also pray for our vision to have a church in every village.
– Pray that God will provide for all of our needs.
– Pray for our jail ministry, that more people will know about the living God, and that they will be set free from darkness. If anyone is interested in jail ministry and would like to teach me and help me minister there, please contact me.
– Pray for a piece of land for the church, so that we can have our own place where we can glorify God’s name.

Thank you so much for lifting us up in your prayers!

Darryl and Kayo Record – Cambodia

Dear Praying Friends,

Thanks for your prayer cover. God has been opening many exciting doors for ministry in the areas of evangelism, Bible teaching (Christology), preaching, encouraging, and helping local ministries develop and thrive.

– Please pray for wisdom and physical, spiritual, mental, and emotional strength during this very exciting time. Also, please pray for a time of rest and recharging afterwards, Lord willing, most of October and November.
– Please pray for our family relationships to deepen and thrive despite the pressures (no matter how rewarding) we are experiencing during this season. We are thankful for many supportive relationships with fellow believers both here in Cambodia, and around the world.
