Monthly Prayer Requests
AFRICA

Brian and Jill Kanyike – Kampala, Uganda

– Please pray for the Kanyike children’s passports. They received letters declining them, needing more documents. This was after they were approved at their interview for the passports. Pray they get their originals they had sent in back quickly so they can resubmit. Pray that they are approved . 
– Pray for Arise Christian Fellowship and the FRM guesthouse while the Kanyikes are away. Pray for those they left in charge. 
– Pray for provision for all the expenses that come with being in the USA and the children’s paperwork.

– My friend Joshua who just came to Christ out of Islam. Please pray for his safety and peace as he learns to have a new life in Christ. 
– The marriage conference we are hosting for our pastoral students and their wives. Please pray that the husbands and wives grow in their love and respect for each other. 
– The new School of Ministry we opened in Kitgum town. Pray that many Christians would be equipped and empowered for ministry there.

Bond and Heather Gaona – USA, Asia, and Africa

– Pray for all the visits and opportunities to share about the bible colleges during the summer break. Recruiting is in motion and pray that the right students are selected….those who are called by God, have a hunger for His Word, courage to stand in a culture that is full of persecution and a boldness to proclaim the Gospel and the Word of God.
– Pray for the campus project in S. Asia as we have broken ground. Pray that all plans go smoothly and favor in all the construction dealings.  
– Pray for our family as we travel to teach at CBI Peru and visit missionaries in August. Pray as well as Heather is part of teaching at the women’s conference at Calvary Trujillo.

– Praise the Lord that my daughter’s surgery went well. Please pray that they were able to remove enough tissue that the nevus does not grow back, and that the biopsy reports are clear.

The 10/40 Window

The 10/40 Window is a rectangular geographic area stretching from North Africa through the Middle East to Asia, covering 68 countries. Two-thirds of the world’s population live within the 10/40 Window.Three out of every five people in the 10/40 Window have no access to the gospel. According to the Joshua Project, 68.6% of the 10/40 Window’s ethnic groups (5,984) are considered unreached, with a total population of 3.09 billion.(Some names and faces have been changed or omitted for security reasons.)

Worker 3 – 10/40 Window

– Please pray for good rainfall in our country; also pray for the farmers, that they will have good crops.
– Please pray for my parents’ health, also that they will grow in faith.
– Please pray for the believers in my village, that they will grow spiritually. Also pray for Mr. K.D. and family, that they will come to the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ.
– Continue to pray for the growth and needs of our local church.
– Kindly pray for me and my family; may the Lord use us for the expansion of His kingdom.

Prayer Requests:

– Please pray that God will continue to use me for His glory as I teach and disciple the students.
– Please pray for my health as I have dust allergies right now and have to take daily medication.
– Pray for the students, that they will be able to adjust well, as most of them are from different states.
– Pray for God’s protection over us.

Worker 11 – 10/40 Window

Praise points:

– Thank God, some pastors came from another state last month to visit. It was wonderful to spend time with them, and I was able to hear a lot of new words.
– Thank God, my wife’s gall bladder surgery went well.
– Thank God, I am receiving invitations from many places to share the Good News.
– Thank God, my sister gave birth to her son through a c-section. Due to lack of proper care in the government hospital, though, he had many infections and suffered from much illness. My wife and I admitted him into a private hospital for 21 days. Praise God! God healed him and provided every need; now he is fine.

Prayer requests:

– Please pray that my wife’s surgery wound heals quickly, so that I can go home.
– My wife and I have shared the Good News with my wife’s relatives and many people have distributed audio Bibles in the local languages. May God work in their hearts.
– Our administrator, Jana’s, daughter Kaylee has surgery. Pray that God will help that surgery and for the recovery to go well.
– Please pray for my mother’s health. Pray that God will heal her from all kinds of pain.
– Please pray for my church family, that God will grow them in the Word of God more deeply.

Hi family, thank you for your faithful prayers.
 
– Please pray for wisdom and direction for our next steps as we are looking to plant a church.
– For Michelle’s language learning process. 
– A few young men have been coming to our home and Rohith has started a study with them. Please pray that they would stay committed and that God would stir their heart for His work.

Praise Reports:

– Last month we were able to visit the eastern part of the country, where we did Inductive Bible Study for 2 days for a Pastor and new leader. It was such a blessed time with them and we also did a one-youth conference. We saw a lot of young people who love and serve the Lord.

Prayer Requests:

– Please pray for our good health.
– Please pray for the upcoming semester, that God may bring wonderful young people.
– Please pray for the safe travel for the students who will be returning from their homes.
– Please pray for brother D, who is our ex-graduate. He is serving in the western part of the country underneath a pastor. He asked for prayer that “God will lead him to go the place where there is no church.”

– Please pray for the church mission trip.
– Please pray for spiritual growth, numerical growth, and maturity in the church. May the Lord lead the steps of neighbors to the church.
– Please pray for the two new church plants. May the Lord use and bless the pastors to spread the Gospel to their places. Pray that God will bring many new people to the church.
– Pray for our church’s property. This is the last year of our lease/rental agreement and then we have to move out. Pray that God will grant property for the church so that we will not have to move.
