New Beginnings, Same Faithful God

“And the Lord, He is the One who goes before you. He will be with you, He will not leave you nor forsake you; do not fear nor be dismayed.”

DEUTERONOMY 31:8

Dear family and friends,

I hope this letter finds you well. It has been 2 months since my last newsletter when I ended the Calvary School of Missions and I am so excited to update you all on what the Lord has been doing in my life. Thank you for your continued prayers, love, and encouragement. It means more than you know!

After finishing my time in Mexico, I went back to the Calvary Bible Institute and interned there for a month and a half. About 3 weeks ago, I moved back to Southern California to start a missions internship with Calvary Chapel Saving Grace in Yorba Linda (the church that brought us to Mexico for the School of Missions.) This internship is a continuation of the Lord”s preparation and equipping for international missions in the future. The focus of this internship is in training us on the ins and outs of how a church runs as we look to plant churches on the field; it also gives insight on how a missions organization meets and connects with international missionaries to aid them in administrative work, financial support, counseling, and care team support.

In this season of transition, I have been getting situated with a new routine that comes along with living in a new place and beginning ministry with at a new church. The Lord has been teaching me a lot about His faithfulness, unchangingness, and His constant presence in all things. The church body of Saving Grace, the leadership, and fellow interns have been so welcoming, loving, and kind which has been such a blessing and it has been so sweet getting to know everyone.

“I thank my God upon every remembrance of you, always in every prayer of mine making request for you all with joy, for your fellowship in the gospel from the first day until now, being confident of this very thing, that He who has begun a good work in you will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ.”

Prayer Requests:

  • For diligence in continuing to growing in the Lord and be led by Him
  • For all the teams and people preparing to be sent out onto the mission field next year
  • For continuing to make friendships and relationships at Saving Grace
  • For the 3.2 billion unreached people who have still never heard the Gospel

“Why should anyone hear the Gospel twice, before everyone has heard it once?”
-Oswald J. Smith

Praise Reports:

  • I have safely moved to Yorba Linda and begun the missions internship
  • I am getting to know the church family here and they are all so sweet
  • We had a successful Halloween outreach where the Gospel went out all around Yorba Linda

Thank you for taking the time to read this update and for joining in on the work that God has called me to! It is such a beautiful gift to realize that the Lord doesn’t need our help in fulfilling His plans, but because of His love, He wants us to take part in spreading the Good News of Jesus Christ to the ends of the earth! I would greatly appreciate your continued partnership with me in prayer as the Lord continues to prepare me for cross-cultural ministry and leads me to a certain part of the world and people group. If you feel led to make a one time or monthly donation to my missions account for future mission trips and eventually for being sent out, that would mean so much to me. Saving Grace World Missions requires 80% monthly funding before moving onto the field, so any amount would be a huge blessing as I start this process by faith for whatever the future might look like.

For His glory,

Macey
