It is written
Then Peter said ” See, we have left all and followed You.“
– Luke 18:28
I have decided to leave all and follow Jesus.
Why?
Because He saved me and is worthy off all that I am.
God sent His Son from the highest of the heavens and He became a man and gave His life for me, for you, and for the world. He suffered a shameful and horrendous crucifixion; the wrath that we deserved was poured out on Him and He died in our place. Through this, He restored us unto Himself, saved us from our sin, judgement, and the eternal wrath of God, and gave to us eternal life.
Why?
Because He loves us and there is no greater love than to lay down one’s life for another. This is the good news, the Gospel that the world is dying to hear.
What Now?
I have uprooted my life from Washington and moved to California to be trained up to serve and share this message cross culturally. Only a day after moving to California, I hopped on a 21-hour plane ride heading from Los Angeles to Thailand. I had the amazing opportunity to be in Asia for over a month, a trip that started with a 10-day conference in Thailand. Through this conference, I had the privilege of meeting brothers and sisters from all over the world. We fellowshipped, encouraged one another, exchanged wisdom from the field, and made lifelong friendships and partners in the Gospel.

After being in Thailand for ten days, I began my 3-week journey in South Asia. This leg of the trip was a “vision tour,” a time where workers are able to go to a region of the world where they feel called to and they are able to experience the culture, the work, and the need of that place. The Lord has placed South Asia on my heart, a region that is within the 10/40 window that has some of the most concentrated amounts of the lost who have little to no access to the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Souls are being born, living, and dying without ever having the opportunity of choosing eternal life. I know what some of you may be thinking: “How could a loving God send someone to hell for not knowing or believing in Jesus?” God is not sending anyone to hell for not believing in Jesus, but for their sins. In the same way a just judge could not allow a convicted murderer to be set free without first paying for their crimes. God cannot allow sin to go unpunished, so He laid that punishment upon His Son Jesus Christ. This gifted forgiveness, innocence, and eternal life to all who will repent and trust in Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior. (John 3:16)
This is the purpose of the Church: the evangelization and discipleship of the whole world, to let the world know that there is a Savior and His name is Jesus Christ.
I’m so excited to share this journey with you all and in my next update I’ll share the good, the bad, and the hope for Southern Asia, as well as what it was like serving in the 10/40 window.
