Growing to Be More Like Christ – Pastor 16 Update November 2024

Praise the Lord!

Greetings to you in the name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Dear supporters and prayer partners, thank you for your prayers and financial support. We are praying for your family and your country. By the grace of God my family and I are doing well, God has kept us safe.

I have been meditating from the book of Philippians, and learning to have a Christ-like mind. I got the chance to teach this chapter in our Sunday service.

Last month, I got the chance to visit the brother J*. We had fellowship with his family in the Word of God. Last year, he was in an accident. A truck hit him from the back. He was injured badly and lost his left leg. By the grace of God, he is okay now. He is going to try to get an artificial left leg.

Last month, I also got the chance to visit a believer’s house. I take the Bible school students to visit families and give them the opportunity to preach and lead worship. We are trying to give them opportunities like this to learn and get prepared for their future ministry. In class, we evaluate their sermons and correct them. We also give them chances to share sermons in believer’s homes. After house visiting also we evaluate their work and correct them, so that they may become better at preaching.

On July 1st, our Calvary Bible Institute classes started. We got 5 new students from different parts of the country. They are from different backgrounds. We thank God for the students who have also joined us again for the 2nd year.

Prayer Requests:

  • Please pray for my children to grow in the Lord’s fear and knowledge. Please also pray for their final exams.
  • Please pray that the Lord will intervene in the problem the world is facing.
  • Please pray for our local village ministry. May they grow in the Lord’s Word.
  • Please pray for Brother J* as he plans to get an artificial left leg.
  • Please pray for the CBI students to grow in God’s Word.

Blessings,

Pastor 16* and Family
