Hey guys welcome back to what is another newsletter!!  This newsletter is gonna be an exciting one, that’s for sure!!!

CSOM 2025 is under way here at Calvary Chapel Saving Grace, where we have officially sent out the 7th year of CSOM students! It’s amazing to see what God is doing through the lives of those who I’m proud to call my church family here. My amazing friends Deprii, Ariana, and Serena are CSOM leaders this year. They were a part of my 2024 year. It’s amazing to see how the Lord has provided and continuously providing for this amazing opportunity to go and be a part of the staff.

Just as I was a year ago headed to Mexico, now some old and new friends are headed to Mexico to truly seek what the Lord has for them. I had no idea what the Lord had in store for me just a year ago. CSOM changed my life forever and helped me discover the path that the Lord has for me. Getting to be a part of the CSOM worship night again was such an amazing time to seek the Lord not only for what He has in store for me this next year but to get to encourage these new students in what the Lord has for them these next few weeks. My biggest encouragement to these students is to just take this time to seek what the Lord has for them. Not to worry about next steps but really just seek Him right where they are. A verse that has stuck out to me ever since my time at CSOM has been Romans 10:13-15.

“For “whoever calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved.” How then shall they call on Him in whom they have not believed? And how shall they believe in Him of whom they have not heard? And how shall they hear without a preacher? And how shall they preach unless they are sent? As it is written: “How beautiful are the feet of those who preach the gospel of peace, Who bring glad tidings of good things!””‬ ‭

This has been on my heart since CSOM and still speaks to me this day. On the CSOM send off Sunday we got to go through 1 Samuel 30:21-31 and it was such a sweet reminder that whether you are a goer or a sender your roles are just as important. Senders need goers to do the great commission and goers need senders to do the great commission. We are all commanded to be a part of the great Commission. I encourage you all to seek the Lord and pray and see where the Lord wants to use you for the Great Commission.

Speaking of CSOM and moving forward, I have some exciting news!! 

I have been praying about next steps and where the Lord is guiding me for my future as we are approaching the end of Year 1 of MTS. These last few months CBI (Calvary Bible Institute) has been on my heart. As I have been praying and seeking what the Lord has for me, the Lord has been putting the Middle East, specifically Israel, on my heart to go to and study at their CBI program for 3 months. As I started praying, the Lord has opened some doors and I was officially accepted into CBI Israel this June. As I got in many of you may know the war started shortly after I was accepted. As I continue to seek the Lord on wether or not to still go based on the all that is happening right now, I would like you to know that the Lord is still good no matter where I am. The Lord will make it clear as day to whether it’s His will or not for me to go. As I’m looking into many different CBI campuses, I have been praying with an open heart of whether He wants me in Israel or somewhere else. My prayer is to attend CBI Israel as long as it’s safe and that’s where the Lord wants me to be. 

Children’s Ministry- 

Since coming to CC Saving Grace I have been involved in many different ministries, including children’s ministry nursery! It’s such an amazing time to be able to show the love of Jesus to these kids. They are playful, funny, and so beyond smart. They are such a light into my life and a reminder of our Creator. He made each of these beautiful kids, as well as all of you, perfectly and wonderfully. They always remind me of the simplicity of who God is and how much He loves each of His children. I get the opportunity to be able to love on these amazing children and tell them about Jesus!!

More Recently 

We had our VBS (Vacation Bible School) this summer and it was an amazing time! The Lord was working in these little hearts and it was such a blessing to me. I got to help out with games as a fellow MTS student and lead them for the first time!! It was such a blessing to see the Lord work through each of us, to be able to show kids the love of God, pour into their lives, and teach them more of who God is. 

I got to attend an Arabic Bible study with a friend of mine. I was unsure of what to expect and it was honestly an eye opener. These wonderful people came from Egypt and are Coptic Christians. If you don’t know what a Coptic Christian is, here’s the definition for you:

“Coptic Christians are an ethnoreligious group native to Egypt, predominantly members of the Coptic Orthodox Church. They trace their origins to the earliest Christians in Egypt.” 

These people were so amazing and so hospitable. They treated us as though we already knew each other. Many have come to the states to escape persecution and/or for better jobs. As we got there and they started their study in Arabic, a beautiful young woman came to translate for us. She was so sweet and she translated beautifully. I got to experience a different culture’s Bible study. It was such a cool time to see the differences but also have the same core values of who God is and what He has done for us on the cross. 

As I take these next steps going forward and walking in what the Lord has called me to do, I am still paying off CSOM from last year. I have $2,700 left to pay off for CSOM last year. So if you feel led to partner with me, there will be a giving link down below, BUT most of all I would appreciate prayers as I step forward into this call.
