Nikesh heard the Gospel in 2008 from a friend and accepted Jesus as his Savior. The friend Laxmi who shared Christ with him later became his wife. They served the Lord together in their church and felt a call to ministry. Nikesh attended Calvary Bible Institute and graduated in 2021. After living in the capital city for many years, they became burdened for their hometown in the far east close to the border, which is home to orthodox Hindu and Muslims. The area is a very hard and dark place in desperate need of the Gospel. Despite the spiritual darkness in the region, they moved to the areas and planted a  Calvary Chapel. They are sharing the good news, teaching the Word and reaching out in the community.
