Pastor Laxman

Laxman grew up without a father and his mother was very poor and there was no peace in their home. At the age of 20, his friend and Pastor Prakash shared the Gospel with him and he committed his life to Christ. He married his wife Sharmila and felt called to serve the Lord full-time. They made great sacrifices to both attend Calvary Bible Institute Nepal as a married couple and graduated in 2021. During the school breaks, they would return to their hometown to share the Gospel and started a bible study. After living in the capital city of Kathmandu for many years, they made the decision to leave the comforts and the church they loved and plant a Calvary Chapel in the central part of Nepal. After several years of working and doing ministry, Laxman is now able to be fully devoted to the work of the ministry. They are faithful church planters that are reaching their community for Jesus and teaching the Word verse by verse.
