A New Step!

Hi everyone! I’m so excited to share with you guys this next step that God has for me. I have no idea what lies ahead, but I know Who is with me, so I pray you all are encouraged and also keep me in your prayers!

This past year has been one of growth and change. After high school I had plans on what I wanted my life to look like. It included the Lord, but when looking at the bigger picture, it didn’t look like full surrender. Soon after, on a short mission trip to Haiti, my heart toward God and His gospel changed. It was as if I didn’t understand it as much as I thought I did before. How could someone so perfect come to this earth and die a brutal death, so that us sinners can have eternal life with God? And why are there so many people who still don’t know that there is someone who did all of this for them? I never thought that I would ever have the desire to leave my home and go out to tell people about Jesus Christ. But now, it seems like the most logical thing to do! I wanted to learn more about missions and the Lord opened a door. I have applied and been accepted into the Calvary School of Missions, this is a 6 week training program to prepare me for cross cultural missions. There is a possibility of an internship to further equip me after this school. My hopes for this next step is that the Lord will reveal to me what His calling upon my life is pertaining to missions. As I go to the School of Missions I am surrendering all of my plans to Him and am open to what He wills.

In this time I kindly ask for your prayers and if the Lord puts it on your heart to partner with me financially, I would greatly appreciate it. This school cost $2,700 to attend, so anything helps. Above all, I pray that God will have his way in my life!
