Pastor Vincent grew up as a refugee and a soldier’s son moving around Africa. God brought him back to his home after the war. He since has finished Bible College and married Melissa Aniku. Vincent is Senior Pastor of Calvary Chapel Midigo in East Africa. He manages the Calvary Soccer team and disciple’s new believers.
Melissa Aniku grew up in Southern California and felt a calling for missions. She went to Africa in 2009 and is now a permanent resident. Melissa’s ministries are mostly within their compound with homeschooling and management. She also tends to the daily guests that come to the compound for prayers and discipleship. She helps to coordinate the Children’s Ministry with 600-700 children and serves on the Women’s Ministry leadership.
Together, God has called them to financially and spiritually take care of 13 Ugandan children plus their own biological. They have community ministries that reach out to non-believers while also giving job opportuinities. This year God is providing for them to start a stadium for the soccer team and outreaches plus a library and community center to teach reading and writing to the adults who are illiterate due to war. This will be the first place of its kind in the area bringing the gospel and unity.
