This is a question for the Church: Where are we going? And when you hear the answer I wonder if you’ll feel the way I felt.

1 in 200,000
1 in 200,000 missionaries are going to the unreached. 1 in 200,000 are going to those who would live and die without ever hearing the name of Jesus. Is it because the unreached are just too much to handle by the church today? Unfortunately that is not the case. There are currently 17,000 people groups around the world today and 7,000 of those people groups are still unreached. There are 54,000 Christians to every 1 unreached people group. We can do it… we just aren’t. Although I do believe we can reach these people I am not going to ignorantly say it is an easy task. I am in full understanding that these people groups are unreached for a reason. That being due to various things such as geographic location, governmental oppression, danger, war, and poverty. It is hard, but it’s possible.
This makes me think “where are we going?” because it’s not to them.
I don’t say this as a sort of guilt trip. I say it because it’s a truth that is jarring, and I can’t help but think that people must not know. As I am writing to you about all these things it may sound weird but I am brought to a place of gratitude. I am grateful for all of you who take the time to read all that I’m bringing to you, I am grateful for your financial support that is allowing me to be here, I am grateful for every prayer you bring to the feet of our Father. It is my every intention to spend my life working to change the reality of those who are lost today. This is what you are supporting me in. Together we are working to make the answer to this question “WE ARE GOING TO THEM”.
Outreach Update
Now that I have shared all the Lord has been burdening my heart with through class I would love to tell you about all we have been doing to engage with the lost here in Mexico. We had a total of three outreaches this week the first being a park outreach, then a beach outreach, and finally our carnival outreach.

The first outreach of this week we partnered with CC Playas. We put on an event at the local park near the church. We went out around the neighborhood inviting everyone we came across. There was a great turn out and it seemed to me to be one of our most successful outreaches. During this outreach I was painting the nails of the women and young girls that came. I also got the chance to bring out my acting skills again for the children’s program.
Later in the week we had a beach outreach where our group set up tables to once again paint faces, make bracelets, and blow balloon animals. It was my first time ever making balloon animals and honestly can’t say that I’m too good at it. Thankfully the popular choice is a dog and I’ve got that one down. haha. Our tables weren’t too busy as time was passing and I got the chance to go out passing invites to church. I was with a friend of mine Tori. Tori and I are not big Spanish speakers, but the Lord came through to help us with the little we knew creating a few successful conversations and invites received.
The last of our outreaches was a carnival back at CC Tecolote. This was such a fun time. We once again went around the neighborhood inviting everyone we came across. I always get so surprised with the turnout we get from inviting people a few minutes before an event starts. Just a fun thing about Mexican culture that I could never see working out in America but yet it works so well here. I got to lead worship during the children’s program portion of this event. Leading worship for kids is basically just dancing to a song hoping the kids follow along. Thankfully, they always do! I also got the chance to visit with my friend Liliana that I had met last week. I have a picture of us dancing around like goons here for you too.

JOIN ME
Like I mentioned earlier I am so grateful for you all. It is my hope that as you have been reading these newsletters you have more and more of understanding of all that you are partnering with me in. I currently have about $1,100 left to pay for my schooling here. I have faith that the Lord will provide. Please join me in praying for that provision. I’ll have a link bellow if you feel that God would like to use you to do that.
Along with this please be praying…
- for guards against spiritual warfare
- boldness in ministering to people
- team unity and health
- affirmation from the Lord in the way He is calling me
Thank you again for reading! Please reach out with anything I can be praying for! Love you all!
