When is your weakness your biggest strength? Did I trick you into thinking you were reading the back of a laffy taffy wrapper? haha.
Welcome back to my newsletter everyone ! I’m excited to get to share with you all what I’ve been learning and doing in this past week. You may already have an idea of what the answer to my little “riddle” is, but if not keep reading!

2 Corinthians 12:9
The answer lies here in 2 Corinthians 12:9. Paul writes “But he said to me, My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness. Therefore I will boast all the more gladly of my weakness so that the power of Christ may rest upon me.” This is something the Lord has been ministering to me since I arrived here in Mexico. Being here I have been given ample opportunity to see my weaknesses highlighted. It is both a humbling and challenging thing to be made aware of our weakness. We naturally like to fight to make up for them, but when it comes to serving God’s kingdom we are not left to the limitations of our own flesh. It’s something I have to remind myself of daily but it is true, where we are weak His power is made perfect. Our weaknesses is the idle playing field for God to come in and make a way. The most exciting thing about our weaknesses is that it is where Christ receives the most glory because every achievement is His success within us. It is undeniably Him.
This is a truth I have been clinging on to and I pray you all do the same. Knowing that when you are faced with your weakness THAT is exactly the place where you will see the Lord’s working hand the most…and isn’t that something we are all yearning to see?
WHAT HAVE WE BEEN UP TO?
This week we had a total of three separate outreaches. Our team did a park outreach, a swapmeet outreach, and a Church take over. I unfortunately didn’t attend the park outreach this week due to being sick. Our team has experienced a lot of illness over the last week and a half but a praise report is that everyone seems to be doing much better now and is fairly healthy.

The swap meet outreach was such a great time. We placed up a station where all the people were selling various things. At our station we were handing out balloon animals, doing face paint, and more. During this time I was able to paint faces, which if you know me well, it would be no surprise to hear that I loved it. Though it is often difficult with the language barrier it is so wonderful to see the love of Christ we are pouring out to people recieved.

The Church take over had to be my favorite of the week! We were blessed to come into Calvary Chapel Tecolote and take over their church for a Sunday. I got the chance to spend sometime with the kids from CC Tecolote while supporting the members of our team leading the children’s ministry there. It was a blessing to be able to play with and learn from the children there. Something I am learning is that kids are the most willing teacher when it comes to language. It was a part of my week that may have been small but blessed my heart greatly.
