Vincent Family March 2016 Missions Update

Greetings from Mexico,

In Proverbs 31, the Bible gives us the example of the hard working Spirit filled virtuous woman.  God has been doing so many great things in our church lately, and in this update, I wanted to highlight a few of the key ladies that serve and are so vital in the life of our church!

First off, the church would never be where it is without my lovely wife Sarah. Sarah was our original woman’s Bible study leader, children’s ministry director, and women’s ministries director. (A position that she still holds today) Sarah has always done whatever was needed at the church and has been so vital to each stage of our growth. Even in this present time when Sarah is focusing on homeschooling our children, she continues to assist in numerous areas.

Lupita Espinoza took over our children’s ministry director position from Sarah over 5 years ago! Personally, I have never met anyone that loves children more than our beloved Lupita.

During every service you can see Lupita smiling and hugging every child that she see’s. Lupita also continues to lead our “club de Ninos” (Saturday club for street children) where she and her ministry team love these hurting children and provides them with a meal, Bible study, and plenty of fun.

Bonnie Johnson  has served as a missionary with our church (along with her husband Pastor Jeff) for the past 7 years. Bonnie pioneered our church’s first English speaking ladies Bible Study which continues strong to the present day. Each Friday morning you can see upwards of 40 English speaking ladies loving Jesus, loving each other, and being part of a vibrant community of like-minded believers.

For the past few years, Liliana and Beny (two of our Pastors wives) have been leading our weekly Spanish speaking ladies Bible studies. Each of these studies focuses on building up the ladies in our church through fellowship, Bible study, and service. Each one of these studies is vital to the life of our church, and a huge encouragement to our Spanish speaking ladies!

Those are only a few of the many key women’s leaders that serve selflessly in our church. We have other women involved in leadership positions in our celebrate recovery ministry, youth ministry, worship ministry, and many many more. For our church to function  it is truly a team effort, and I thank God every day for these amazing women! Beyond our ladies in leadership, we have close to 100 other ladies who faithfully serve each week in a variety of ministries throughout the church!

Finally, I want to personally thank you for supporting and praying for our family and ministry.  It is through your prayers that God meets our spiritual needs, and through your financial support that God meets our physical needs! We are honored to partner with you and serve the Lord as your missionaries!

Con mucho amor de Mexico,  (with much love from Mexico)

Mike, Sarah, Grace, and Daniel

Prayer Requests:

#1- Pray for that God will bless and give vision to each of our ladies in leadership positions!

#2- Pray that God will provide financially for our new cry room we want to put in the church for nursing mothers!

#3- Pray that God will provide for the financial needs of our family!
