I got rebuked by a friend today! As a Senior Pastor that doesn’t happen as often as it should. But this rebuke was a good chance to sit back, listen, receive, and repent! The worst thing people can do when they get rebuked is blame, make excuses, or defend! (And even though I was tempted to do all three of those, I kept my mouth shut!) Faithful are the wounds of a friend.

Ya… being rebuked is never a fun thing. But praise God for godly friends who can faithfully bring that humble and choice rebuke that we often need.
True Mike Theimann… I also said something mean from the pulpit last Wednesday night… (a crack about leaving early that I thought was funny, but evidently some people in our church didn’t) and since it eventually got to my attention that I offended some people with it… I got to repent from the pulpit last night (Wednesday) too! I LOVE REPENTING!!!!!!!
Love it bro, and love you!
