Vincent Family July 2017 Missions Update

Dear ministry partners!

We hope and pray that you are doing well! In June, Sarah and I celebrated 20 years of marriage! For this historic milestone, we were blessed to be able to travel on a short vacation to Oaxaca City.  Oaxaca is a state located for over 500 historical years in Southern Mexico with it’s main claim to fame being the hometown of Mexico’s first president Benito Juarez!

While on our 20 year honeymoon,  we visited the many local museums, churches and tasted the delicious local cuisine. (And that included the famous local dish of Chapulines/ fried grasshoppers)

The state of Oaxaca is home to over 50 indigenous tribes that trace their roots all the way back to the original Indians of the Americas! Sarah and I had the privilege of traveling to some of their ancient ruins to walk through their huge temples, burial sites, and learn about their culture! Also on this trip we were checking out the spiritual climate of this nearly unreached area, as we have some church planters that are considering moving there to church plant in the future.

I am such a blessed man to have a beautiful and Godly wife to be my partner and co-laborer on this missions adventure. It is also fun to reflect back and realize that we have now spent over 75% of our married life serving the Lord on the mission field in Mexico and partnering with you through Mexico Missions!

On the ministry side of things, we continue to focus on our church building fundraising project. We have been amazed as our local church has given sacrificially and generously to help us purchase this building. This past weekend we also had our two stateside church fundraising dinners! We were in Bakersfield on Friday June 30th and Yorba Linda on Saturday July 1st! We would like to give a special thank you to each one of you that were able to attend those events!

God has been good and the finances have been coming in to purchase our building, but we still have a long way to go! If you were not able to attend one of our fundraising dinners and would like to give a special one-time financial gift towards the building project, the direct online giving link is below!

Thank you once again for your love, prayers, and support of our family here on the mission field of Mexico! We feel honored and blessed to have the privilege of partnering with you to not only reach Rosarito but beyond through church planting as we share the love of Jesus Christ!

Con mucho amor de Mexico, (with much love from Mexico)

Mike,  Sarah, Grace, and Daniel

Prayer Requests:

#1-   Pray that God will continue to provide for the financial needs of our family personally!

#2- Pray that our building fundraising projects can continue to be blessed and that we will be able to purchase our building free and clear by our purchase deadline in August!
