Church Planting in the Middle East & A Tour of the Holy Land

Greetings,

Almost fifteen years ago, God called me to be a leader within a church planting movement and for the past fifteen years, I have been at the helm as the Director of Saving Grace World Missions. The years have proven to be radically fruitful and the Lord has moved in ways that are beyond comprehension. The Lord has used me to be involved in facilitating church planting in Africa, Europe, Asia, South and Central America, and Australia. It has been a thrill! In fact, over the past few years, I have seen over 35 churches planted in Mexico, Africa, and Asia. However, ever since I was a teenager, my heart was burdened for the middle east and the Muslim world. It’s the part of the world that is the hardest to penetrate both practically and spiritually.

Over the past few years, as I have been praying for the Muslim world, I have seen the Lord start to move some people into my sphere that feel the call to go to and preach the Gospel in the Middle East. After a lot of prayer and planning with these individuals, the Lord has lead us to take a vision tour to the Middle East (I am being intentionally vague on the location due to the sensitive nature of the area).

What is a vision tour? Well, it is similar to when Moses sent the spies to scout out the Promised Land. It is a reconnaissance mission where we focus on gathering information, meeting with key individuals, and spending a lot of time in prayer. The information gleaned from this trip will help us develop a plan of action for both the SGWM home office and the individuals that feel called to go and serve in this land. I will be traveling over with the rest of the team at the end of this month (March).

Next, I am overjoyed that I get to be a part of a joint Israel tour with a few different Calvary Chapels. After we finish the vision tour, I will head over to Israel to join the Israel tour. This will be my first time in Israel! I have been serving in full-time pastoral ministry for fifteen years and teach the Bible multiple times a week. This tour will prove to be invaluable in my pursuit of biblical education. It will make me a better Bible teacher. It is also positioned in the middle of finishing my BA in Biblical and Theological studies and the start of my MDiv program beginning in the Fall. Needless to say, I am incredibly excited about this trip.

Like all travel, these trips cost a lot of money. I want to ask that you prayerfully consider posting a one-time donation to help cover the cost of these trips. All missionary support is tax deductible, and you can access my missionary giving link through my missionary blog on SGWM.com or clicking the link below. Lastly, like our missionaries serving overseas and living off of support, I am a missionary serving here State side and living off of support. If you value the vision I have put forth in leading the charge in church planting all over the world, would you consider becoming a monthly financial partner? You can do that by clicking on the same link below.

God Bless,
Pastor Mike
