A ministry of Calvary Chapel Saving Grace – Our School of Ministry is located in South Asia. Over the past 6 years we have been working among totally unreached people groups and have seen multiple churches planted in remote villages that had never heard the Gospel before.
Our SOM students are busy every week with a full load of Bible classes that are focused on raising up and training them to be church planters in unreached areas. We also send them out weekly to various locations to host Bible studies and evangelize the unreached.
What Your Support Will Do
Supporting Current Students
Our current students are fully supported by the ministry as we desire to provide them with the opportunity to be distraction free to study the Word of God and minister to people. We seek to disciple them, raise them up, and send them out. Upon graduation each student is interviewed by Pastor P.M. to determine ongoing partnership. At that time (assuming we accept them) they will transition to individual missionary support and will be sent out to strategic locations to start to plant Calvary Chapels.
Calvary Chapel South Asia
Our “hub” church is housed in the same location as our School of Ministry (we are intentionally being vague with the location due to security concerns). Pastor P.M. has established a local Calvary Chapel church plant. The students get real ministry experience and hands on discipleship as they assist with all aspects of this church plant. This practical ministry training prepares them to be sent out and plant new Calvary Chapels.
Running a full-time live-in school of ministry involves many moving parts and requires a lot of administration and upkeep of the various dorm rooms, kitchens and facilities.
Outreach and Evangelism
On a weekly and monthly basis we host all sorts of outreaches to the local city in South Asia. We also travel into unreached and reached villages all over the country with the vision of preaching the Gospel and strengthening the existing Calvary Chapel church plants our graduates are pastoring.
