Dear Friends and Family,

I am privileged to share with you what the Lord has been doing in and through my life. Even though it has been only a month since we started the school, there have been many things that I have personally experienced in my life.

Teaching through the book of Joshua has been blessing my life. I have been learning how important it is for us to inquire from God as a leader; for God is the one who leads us according to His will and I ought to follow Him.

I have been very much blessed to be a part of the team in our country. There are many things that I have been learning from each and every one of them. As Pastor 5* was teaching through Old Testament survey, I was reminded of how important it is for us to be obedient to the word of the Lord (1 Samuel 15:26). Which reminds me of the words in the book of Joshua, “as for me and my household we will serve the Lord.”

From the time I was six years old, I studied in a boarding school. When I used to be very sick, one of my uncles used to come to take me to the hospital. Besides that, I did not have anyone come to visit me. Every weekend, when all my friends parents or relatives used to come to visit their children, I used to look through the window to see if someone would come to visit me–but no one would come. I used to go back and cry on my bed. The reason why I mention this is because last week I had three visitors who had come all the way from America to see how I am doing. They are not my relatives but they are connected to me by the Blood of Christ Jesus. What a blessing it is for me to experience the Love of Christ through His people! And as Uncle R. was here I was privileged to learn that we are to be faithful to what the Lord has called us to do, for He separates the wheat and chaff. I can look at the fruit that others bear, but at the same time it is important for me to understand that I am no one to judge others. When the time comes the Master does the separation.

One day as I was outside adjusting the car headlights, I had to get a tool from the house. As I was going towards the house, there was a huge scorpion that was only one inch away from my feet. It could have stung me, but by the grace of God, it did not do anything to me. Even though I had no footwear on! I was reminded of how God watches over us even when we are ignorant about many things in life.

Prayer requests:
1.) From May 7th-11th I will be sharing at a conference. Please pray that the Lord would speak in and through me as I share the Word. Also, for a safe journey. The travel time to and from the conference will be about 55 hours.
2.) Please pray for me as I teach the book of Genesis and Judges and simultaneously the book of Joshua for the new students.
3.) Please pray that all the pending work at the school may be completed as soon as possible and also for electricity.
