Complete Trust

Dear Friends,

Greetings to you all in the matchless name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ!

“I will destroy the wisdom of the wise; the intelligence of the intelligent I will frustrate.” (1 Corinthians 1:19)

Many times, we fall because we trust in our own wisdom and our own ideas. But we should remember this all becomes nothing without God. We need to have complete trust in the Lord. In the same way, I have had many shortcomings, but we thank God that He reminds us through His Word and helps us to move forward. At the same time, we acknowledge that our ministry partners are sacrificially praying and supporting our ministry. We uphold each one of you in our daily prayers and thoughts. Once again, I thank everyone for your partnership in the ministry.

In the state we live in, Christians are going through massive persecution. Hindu fanatic groups are threatening to force them to denounce their Christian faith and convert to the Hindu religion. If they refuse to denounce their faith, they threaten that the Christians will have to leave their villages or face dire consequences, even death. Many Christian tribal villagers were gravely assaulted and beaten with bamboo canes, tires, rods, etc. Many people had to be hospitalized with injuries, like a fractured collar bone, fractured wrists, etc. We all are living in fearful situations, but God is helping us to reach out to people in many ways.

In the past month, we were fully engaged with Christmas celebrations. On December 11, we had a wonderful Christmas program (above) with non-Christian children, and it was immensely joyful to involve the children in different activities.

On December 12, 13 and 14, we went Christmas caroling (above), and shared about Jesus by going door-to-door. We got very good responses from the people.

On December 17, as a church we celebrated Christmas on our church premises (above).

On December 22, we celebrated Christmas in the nursing home (above), followed by Christmas Eve and Watch Night services. Eventually, we had the great privilege of sharing the Gospel through Christmas caroling in the nursing home and showing Christ’s love.

Last Month, my wife’s school organized a Christmas program (above) and canteen day. She was a part of the organizing team. For her, it was a good time to teach the students how to interact with people.

Prayer Requests:

  • Please pray for the Christians in our state. May their faith be strengthened in Jesus. In this difficult time of persecution, may God take care of His people. At the same time, pray that the fanatical group will come to the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ.
  • So far, we have been living in a rented house. By God’s mercy, one of our relatives gave us a piece of land. We began the construction work, but still have needs to be able to finish the work. Please pray for God to provide all of our needs.
  • Please pray for Sister L; she is 6 months pregnant but not getting any help from her in-law’s family, who she lives with.
  • Continue to pray for the growth and needs of our local church.
  • Continue to pray for our CBI students and staff to have sound health and for the smooth functioning of our college.
  • Kindly pray for me and my family, that the Lord will use us for the expansion of His kingdom.

Thank you very much for your prayers and support!

In Him,

God Is Our Provider

Dear Sponsors,

Greetings to you all in the matchless name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ!

Jehovah Jireh “The Lord will Provide”. Definitely, God is our provider. As a family, we experience this every single day. We thank the Lord for His favor in our lives. At the same time, we acknowledge our ministry partners who are sacrificially praying for and supporting our ministry. We uphold each and every one of you in our daily prayers and thoughts. Once again, thank you everyone for your partnership in the ministry.

We have set aside time for learning God’s Word. It penetrates our hearts and minds, and helps us walk with Jesus in our daily lives.

Last month, my wife took her students to a nursing home. She got the opportunity to share about the love of Jesus there and pray for the residents.

Also, as a Calvary Chapel family, we hosted an awareness program at a government school. It was wonderful time to motivate and encourage the children.

This semester I am teaching book of Ezra and Nehemiah to the CBI students. At the same time, every Saturday, I take the students for home visitation as part of their practical training.

Prayer Requests:

  • My sister-in-law has depended on an artificial cardiac pacemaker for 8 years. In January she is going to have an operation to replace her device. Please pray that the operation is successful.
  • Please pray for sister Lilly. She is 5 months pregnant, but she is not getting any cooperation/needed support from her in-laws/family.
  • Please pray for our Christmas outreach to be successful.
  • Please continue to pray for the completion of our house construction. May God provide all of our needs.
  • Continue to pray for the growth and needs of our local church.
  • Continue to pray for our CBI students and staff to have good health and for smooth functioning of the Institute.
  • Kindly pray for me and my family. May the Lord use us for the expansion of His kingdom.

Therefore Will I Give Thanks

Dear Sponsors,

Greetings to you all in the matchless name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ!

“God doesn’t see outward righteousness, rather He sees inward righteousness.” Pastor Joel said, while he was teaching from the Gospel of Matthew chapter 5. It is always good to be reminded again and again, so that we may not move away from God, but rather experience God’s mighty wings covering us.

In addition, we thank each one of you for your earnest prayers and financial assistance for the expansion of God’s kingdom. Because of your financial help, we could move forward with the Gospel of Christ Jesus to the unreached. As a family we have been praying for you, for your family, ministry, job and businesses. May the good God bless you with all resources and good health.

In our family devotion we have been learning the Bible verse-by-verse and trying to follow the footsteps of Jesus in our daily walk. Our Sunday school children are telling their memory Bible verse in the church.

Last month we began renting a new building for CCBI (left). I am teaching the students and at the same time taking them on home visitation as part of practical training.

Hiking While at the Conference

I was blessed to attend and become an eye witness of the conference in a nearby country. It was an amazing feeling to travel by flight for the first time in my life. Thank you so much for such arrangements.

My wife wanted to say, “Thank you so much for your lovely gift and for being a channel of blessing for me. I was in need of apron but I never knew that God would provide it in this way. However, God knows my need and provides for me”.

Prayer Requests:

  • Continue to pray for the completion of our house construction. May God provide all of our needs.
  • Continue to pray for the growth and needs of our local church.
  • Continue to pray for our CCBI students and staff and for their sound health. Please also pray for the college to run smoothly.
  • Kindly pray for me and my family. May the Lord use us for the expansion of His kingdom.

Thank you very much for your prayers and support!

Sharing God’s Word

“Then Samuel took a stone and set it up between Mizpah and Shen. He named it Ebenezer, saying, “Thus far the Lord has helped us.”

1 Samuel 7:12

In our family devotions, we have been studying the Bible verse-by-verse and trying to follow the footsteps of Jesus in our daily walk.

In this semester at Calvary Bible Institute, I am teaching the book of Exodus. I lead the student’s evening devotions and sometimes take the students for house visitation in order for them to have practical experience. God also gave me the privilege to share the Word of God at a birthday event.

Prayer Requests:

  • Do continue to pray for the completion of our house construction (right), that God may provide all of our needs.
  • Do continue to pray for the growth and need of our local Church.

In May, my daughter was involved in a Vacation Bible School. It was a great time to learn and to have fellowship with another church group. I got the opportunity to share the Word of God and interact with the youth group virtually.

Sharing a B* Village Church

Recently, we started conducting Church services at B* village (above). We also visit the villagers’ houses to encourage and pray for them. In this village, there are two believing families. By the grace of God, they are growing in their faith.

Moving Forward with the Gospel of Jesus

Greetings to you all in the matchless name of our Lord Jesus Christ!

First of all, we express our heartfelt thanks to God Almighty for His wonderful protection and provision for my family. Secondly, we would like to thank each one of you for your valuable prayers and financial aid for the expansion of the ministry. Because of your financial help, we could move forward with the Gospel of Christ Jesus. As a family, we have been praying for you, for your family, ministry, job and businesses. May the good God bless you with all resources and good health.
In our family devotions, we are studying the epistle to the Romans. We are learning that “we gentiles are grafted with Jesus by faith”. Hence, as a family we have been growing in the Lord.

During my visit to another state, I met a Hindu person named S.T.* (right). I was able to share my testimony of how Jesus changed my life with him and encouraged him to know about Jesus’ love.

Last month, we celebrated Palm Sunday and washed the believers’ feet on Easter Sunday in our local church (left). It was a blessed time, learning Jesus’s style of serving. I also have been preaching in our local church and visiting local families to share the Gospel with them and pray for them.

Prayer Requests:

My wife was also engaged in hosting an event for school children.
  • Please pray for S.T.’s* salvation.
  • Please for our church believers to grow in their faith.
  • Continue to pray for the growth and needs of our local church.
  • In the upcoming session, we want to operate our Pastor’s School with a limited number of boarding students. Kindly pray for all of the resources for this.

Encouraging Others to Know Jesus’ Love

Greetings to you all in the matchless name of our Lord Jesus Christ!

We thank God for His marvelous protection and provision for our family! At the same time, we would like to thank each one of you for your valuable prayers and financial support for the ministry. We highly appreciate you and your partnership in the ministry. As a family we have been praying for you, for your families, ministry, job and businesses. May the good God bless you with all of your needs being met and with good health.

I have been doing my personal devotions from the book of Isaiah. God has been teaching me that, even after failure in life, there is hope that God will forgive us and restore our lives. As a family we are growing in the Lord.

Last month, I had the opportunity to visit my native place after being away for seven years. I had a good time visiting with my parents and the villagers there. While I was there, I also visited some Hindu families. I shared my life story with them of how Jesus saved my life and I encouraged them to know Jesus’ love.

I regularly preach in our local church and also visit local families to share the Gospel and pray for them.

Prayer Requests:

  • Please pray for K. village where the majority of the people are alcoholics. Pray that God will deliver them from their alcoholic habits.
  • Please pray for the salvation of a family whom I shared the Gospel with, while I visited my home area.
  • Please pray for our nation, that God will save this country. Also, recently new believers have been persecuted in different parts of the country, pray that God will strengthen them in their faith.
  • Continue to pray for the growth and needs of our local church.
  • In the upcoming school session, we want to operate our Pastor’s School with a limited number of boarding students. Kindly pray for all of the resources we will need.
  • Kindly pray for me and my family, may the Lord use us for the expansion of His kingdom.

Thank you very much for your prayers and support!

Seek First the Kingdom of God

Dear Ministry Partners,

Greetings to you all in the matchless name of our Lord Jesus Christ!

Matthew 6:33 says:

“But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and His righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.”

God is fulfilling this verse in our lives. Therefore, we are pleased to convey our heartfelt thanks to the almighty God for His protection and provisions in our lives. Also, we would like to thank each one of you for your valuable prayers and financial support. Your partnership in the ministry is greatly appreciated. As a family, we have been remembering you in our daily thoughts and prayers. May God keep you safe and bless you in your job and business.

Our Daughter Is Part of the Worship Team

Recently, I was able to talk with Mr. S.K. (40-year-old Roman Catholic). He is very much concerned about his job. I got an opportunity to share about the importance of salvation by quoting Acts 4:12:

Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved.”

He was very happy to listen to such teaching and he said “we are unaware of many biblical truths because our priests never teach them.” Overall, it was a good conversation.

In our family devotions we are studying from the book of Revelation. Apart from my personal Bible study, I have been reading a book called “How to be a Christian in an Unchristian World” by Fritz Ridenour. My wife is studying from the book of Isaiah and my daughter is memorizing Bible verses and has become part of the church worship team.

I preach in our local church and also visit local families to share the Gospel with them and pray for them.

Prayer Requests:

  • Please for the salvation of Mr. S.K. (He is a 40-year-old Roman Catholic).
  • Please pray for our nation- that God may save this country. Lately, new believers are being persecuted in different parts of the country. Pray that God may strengthen them in their faith.
  • Kindly pray for my wife. She is working in a school. May the Lord use her for the expansion of His kingdom. Please pray also for me and my family to grow more in the Word of God.
  • Do continue to pray for the growth and needs of our local Church.

Thank you very much for your prayers and support!

We Walk By Faith

Dear Ministry Partners,

Greetings to you all in the matchless name of our Lord Jesus Christ!

I give all glory and honor to our Lord Jesus for showering His abundant grace and mercy upon our family. Thank you, dear prayer partners and financial sponsors, for your valuable prayers and support. We remember you all in our daily thoughts and prayers. May the grace of God be with you all in every aspect of your life.

Gradually, our country is beginning to unlock. Fresh covid cases are slowing down after the devastating second wave of the virus. Some states have started to ease their curfews or lockdown type restrictions amid a gradual decline in cases. However, several other states have decided to continue with the restrictions longer.

In our family devotion we are studying from the book of Revelation. Apart from my personal Bible study, I have been reading a book called, “How to be a Christian in an unchristian world” by Fritz Ridenour. My wife is studying from the book of Isaiah and my daughter is studying from the book of Genesis and also memorizing Bible verses.

Last month, we moved our office to a new location. Now, we are meeting daily in our office together. Along with our office work, we share and discuss what we have learned from the Bible, correct each other in the Lord, and pray together.

I got opportunity to share God’s Word at a family gathering. It was a blessing both to share and listen to others.

Prayer Requests:

  • Please for all of whom I interacted with last month. May God touch their hearts so that someday they come to the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ.
  • Please pray for our nation–that God may save this country. Also, these days, new believers are been persecuted in different parts of our country, pray that God may strengthen them in their faith.
  • Please pray for me and my family to grow more in the Word of God.
  • Do continue to pray for the growth of our local church.

Thank you very much for your prayers and support!

Standing on God’s Promises

Hello Dear Pastors and Ministry Partners,

Greetings to you all in the matchless name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ!

The government of our country is taking all necessary steps to ensure that we are well prepared to face the challenge and threat posed by the growing pandemic of COVID-19, the Corona Virus. But, ultimately, God is our protector. The Bible says in Nahum 1:7 “The Lord is good, a refuge in times of trouble. He cares for those who trust in Him.” By God’s grace we are blessed with sound health and our daily needs. We have been praying for all of you, dear ministry partners. May God bless you all according to His riches and glory.

In our family devotion we are studying the book of Revelation. Apart from my personal Bible study, I have been reading a book called, “How to be a Christian in an unChristian World” by Fritz Ridenour. My wife is studying the book of Isaiah and my daughter is memorizing Bible verses.

Mr. P.M.

Last month, my daughter’s new school semester started. Now, online classes are going on. My wife also goes to school and conducts online classes.

I had the opportunity to share the Gospel to Mr. P.M. who is a village registrar/accountant. It was a good time interacting with him.

We had a small family gathering during a house warming at a relative’s house. It was a blessing to share and also listen to others share.

Prayer Requests:

  • Please pray for all the people whom I interacted with last month. May God touch their hearts so that someday they come to the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ.
  • Please pray for our nation–that God may save this country. Also, that God may heal this nation from the Corona virus.
  • Please pray for Mrs. BD, her family has land trouble.
  • Please pray for me and my family–that we may grow in the Word of God.
  • Do continue to pray for the growth of our local church.

Blessings,

Pastor 3* and Family
