SGWM Welcomes it’s newest Missionary- The Pierce Family

Saving Grace World Missions (SGWM) is a church planting ministry that was birthed out of the heart of Calvary Chapel Saving Grace located in Yorba Linda, Ca. We desire to assist Churches and Missionaries in sending and facilitating missionaries as they go forth to preach the gospel. SGWM’s passion and vision is to facilitate all the needs of missionaries around the world in order to free them of the overwhelming administrative tasks they face while living oversees.

SGWM is partnering with Pierce Family who have been serving in Jinja Uganda for several years now. WE are blessed to be able to partner with them and see the Gospel go forth through Calvary Chapel Jinja and the Pierce Family.

Don and Danielle desire to impact Uganda for Christ. When we send missionaries out from among us, it is necessary to build a team to collaborate with them.  Paul was very clear about this when he was talking to the church in Rome. He said in Romans 10:14-15 “How then shall they call on Him in whom they have not believed? And how shall they believe in Him of whom they have not heard? And how shall they hear without preaching? And how shall they preach unless they are sent?

Our desire is to encourage you to continue being a partner with the Pierce family as they have been faithful to the call and are sacrificing their lives to be available for what the Lord has for them. There are three vital areas to consider when supporting a missionary: prayer, encouragement, and finances. All of these areas are interlinked and fundamentally necessary.

Prayer and encouragement are sources in which success will be found in fighting the spiritual battle that lies before them. Prayer is vital in sustaining our missionaries spiritually while on the field. Encouragement via email, a phone call or letters will provide our missionaries and their families with the emotional strength to continue on with a heavenly mindset when the calling becomes discouraging. Prayer and encouragement from the body here at home is crucial.

The third area that is vital to success of our missionaries is in the area of Finances. The Pierce family have made the decision to minister overseas and have been for years now, and it is our desire to free up our missionaries from any concern of finances to survive. We hope to continue to build this solid support team for the Pierce family in prayer, encouragement and finances, so that they can devote all their energy to reaching the lost in Jinja, Uganda. The most effective way to financially support our missionaries is to utilize our automatic debit system. Every  3^rd of the month a withdrawal will be automatically taken out of your checking account or a charge will be made on your credit card/ debit card for the amount of your monthly commitment. This enables the missionary to budget his day to day living. We believe that “through many hands, the work is made light.” Even if your gift is small, it is a way of telling them, “I am with you, and with every “small gift” the amount grows. ”
