Precious Monica! To wake this morning and have yours be the very first email… or really thought (coffee must kick in!)… of the day. God is SO good. Your apartment and the school sound wonderful, and the people even more so. I will hold you in my prayers, especially as your teaching adventure begins. I can honestly say, that even going into my 9th year, again a 5/6 combo, I still get excited/nervous/stressed; we all do! Some say it’s why we make good teachers. Ah, comfort! So embrace the craziness that will swim in your head for a while. Know that you’re continuing in the tradition of new teachers everywhere. But soon the children come and a miracle happens! You fall in love, they love you, learning begins to happen, and the sweet rhythm of the school year begins. It will consume you, but all that I know about who you are tells me you will love every moment you have with them.
Blessings upon blessings.
