This weekend our city district, Frankfurt Bonames, celebrated its 100th year of being incorporated into Frankfurt. On April 1, 1910 Bonames left its small town status to become part of the growing metropolis of Frankfurt. 
This weekend there was a fair set up in the middle of our district with food, live music, and vendors from the area offering their goods and services. We also visited the local historical museum and learned much about or little city. I never realized that our tiny city had such a rich history!
