  1. Basketball Court Complete!

    April 29, 2010 by Administrator

With the donations from the Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA) for a basketball court for Kids Club Ministries, Sam with the help of our neighbor Joszi have completed the pad which is the first phase of this project.  The vision bewgan from a prayer request about three years ago.  Our family saw the benefit of building a basketball court for the youth.  While preparing for the 2009 summer furlough to the States, we were in process of signing our kids up for FCA’s annual summer power camp.  The FCA power camp coordinator, Lisa, contacted us and asked if there was any service project  that FCA could join partnership.  We shared our vision to build a basketball court.  They loved the idea and were excited to organize this project to make our vision a reality!

Men from CCEsztergom fellowship, assisted Sam putting on the final fencing, completing the court!  Great job, men!

  2. Answered Prayers! Transitioning to Saving Grace World Missions

It was evident–The Lord’s divine orchestration was unfolding!   In December of 2009, having had been in prayer seeking the Lord’s direction on how we might increase our current 65% support level to a full 100%, we received confirmation after meeting with our sending churches leadership, Calvary Chapel of  Fredericksburg, that it was time to transitions to and partner with Saving Grace World Missions (www.sgwm.com).

As our family begin making these preparations to return to the States, we saw many answers to prayer.  Our first need was finding someone to stay in our ministry home.  While attending a choir concert in Hungary, we sited a Bible college student who had spent some time serving with our ministry over a weekend.  We told her of our most recent news of needing to return to the states, and she shared with us her engagement and their need for housing.  After prayer, the Lord confirmed that this newlywed couple would live in our home, plus assist us with continuing Kids Club ministries while we were  in the United States.

The day arrived for our departure to the States.  Gabi, our sister in Christ, and dear friend, came to say goodbye.  Gabi is a very special in many ways, because our friendships testimony is amazing!

With a hug at the airport, Gabi, came to see us off to the States

We flew from Budaptest, Hungary, to Cleveland, OH.  Sam’s brother picked our family up a the airport.  We spent a few days adjusting to America, and getting the kids settled, where they would stay, while Sam and Michelle would attend the transitional training in California with Saving Grace World Missions.

  3. Divine Orchestration – God provides!

Chino Hills Community Church 2010 Missions Team to Hungary & Slovakia

God provides answers to prayers in the most unexpected ways!  When traveling to Ca for our SGWM training, we were in search of housing and transportation.

In the mean time, William Trimper had contact, our pastor in Esztergom about making arrangements for a summer VBS.  The questions were then passed to us from our pastor to answer and to respond back to William Trimper.  During the emailing back and forth, William Trimper realized we would be coming to CA.  He and his wife, Sharon opened their home to us.

The amazing divine orchestration that took place here is that  William, his wife and a ministry team were to come to Esztergom and minister to the very kids that we would had ministered, had we had been in Esztergom!  God knew we were to be in the States, and knew we needed someone to serve in our place doing summer outreaches, so He prepared this CA team to come and minister to the very kids we would had been ministering to!! What is so amazing about this divine orchestration is that this team had come to Esztergom for the past three years, and we had never crossed paths!  This team will be serving the CCEsztergom church by doing a weekly Vacation Bible School, Women’s and Men’s ministry, street evangelism and ministering to the Kids’ Club youth!  What a mighty God we serve–He who is ABLE to orchestrate more than we can imagine or think!

Sam & Michelle share to Chino Hills Community Church about how God is using the Hungary bound missions team!
