  1. Missions In Action: Kids Korner

    January 3, 2010 by Administrator

Hi everyone! Hogy vagy? (How are you?) Megan and Michael continue to improve in their writing and speaking of Hungarian. Michael’s attendance at Hungarian school has played a vital part in communicating and sharing the gospel with kids his age. Michael currently has three of his classmates attending Kids Club, plus three others who attend other classes. They enjoy playing finger boards, known as Teck-decks. They are miniature finger size skateboards. They have teamed up and built cardboard and wood skate ramps. Michael participated in his first school swim meet. Doing quite well for his first time competing, he participated in the 100m, and 400m relay swim. Megan’s improved language skills have helped her teach group games during Kids Club. Exhibiting strong leadership skills, she continues to come up with creative group game ideas to help the kids interact and have fun. In preparation for the upcoming Christmas season, Megan and Michael have joined a youth choir in Budapest, Hungary. The youth choir accompanied the well known Golgotha (Calvary) Gospel Choir. They sang in Hungarian to an audience of 2,000 people. Participating in this event had allowed them to meet new friends plus, most importantly; it has given them the opportunity to invite friends and neighbors to hear the gospel message through song. This musical event took place on December 20, 2009.

    Boldog Karácsonyt! (Merry Christmas!)
    Megan & Michael
