Warm greetings to everyone from Esztergom!
Our family arrived safely on July 3. We had smooth
travels and all our luggage arrived intact. We traveled
from Budapest to Vajta, Hungary, where the Northern
Hungarian churches were having their annual
conference. Michelle and I taught the children’s
programs the last three days of the conference. It was
quite an adventure. From Vajta, we traveled by car to
Esztergom to see for the first time the house the Lord
provided for us. We were blessed beyond measure—it
had furniture and beds. We live on a corner lot, above
three shops and have developed good relationships
with the shop owners. Our home is also blessed with the
mid-day and evening cross breezes. We had prayed for
a beautiful view, and from our living room we overlook
three crosses from nearby churches—a sweet reminder
to us daily to fix our eyes on Jesus. He is faithful!
We travel the city on our bicycles, and we also enjoy
walking to the local markets. We have been able to
connect with the local people and begin developing
relationships. Each day we learn more and are settling
in to Hungarian culture and life.
We will begin Kids’ Club following the Vacation Bible
Schools. We will meet on Friday evenings in Sturovo,
Slovakia, and Saturday mornings in Esztergom
Hungary. Of course we would ask for prayer that many
children participate, but also that we will be faithful to
the grace God gives us. Pray we are spirit led in each
    event.
Each day we are reminded that God is pouring His
grace over us and equipping us with His unfailing love.
Life is still new for us here, but each day we are being
renewed with His grace and love.
Thank each of you for your faithfulness to support this
mission; you are making an incredible impact on many
lives. We have been impacted by your prayers—we see
the difference daily. Keep pressing forward on your
knees for His Kingdom. Stay faithful to the call God has
placed in your lives. Stay committed to finish what He
has started. Pray continually for personal revival and
revival in our nations. Pray for those times of fatigue
that the Lord would give us the strength of Samson, the
courage of Joshua, the wisdom of Solomon, the heart
of David, the faith of Abraham, the Love of John, the
control of His Spirit, and the compassion of His Son, as
we seek to bring living water to a thirsty people!
    Much love and thanks,
    the McCartneys
