Blessings from Pakistan!

Dear Friends and Family,

We praise God for His faithful protection, blessing and His grace upon us and our ministry team. And, we are eternally thankful to you, our dear and faithful friends, for your love, prayers and support.  You have been a great help and encouragement for us as we serve in this tough environment.  We’re happy to report that the governmental election is over  and we all have high hopes expectations with the new elected government body.  Please keep Pakistan always in prayers!  We want to share with you all the things the Lord is doing through our ministry here.  We could not do it without your constant prayers and loving support!  We love you, Nadeem & Farah

Village Bible Studies ~ Blessed & Growing!

Our first and foremost priority is to teach the Word of God and we now have thriving Bible Classes within the villages.  We praise God for those God has given us to train and equip with His Word.  They are very smart, enthusiastic and very active in studying the Word of God.

Through our own eyes, we see the power of the God, through the study of His Word, change the lives of these students.  Our hope is that they will grow to become good teachers and Christian leaders within their own villages and that they will make a difference in their families, community and society.  We pray that this work can be expanded in the near future so more people can be trained and equipped for the Christian Leadership in Pakistan. Please keep our Village Bible Study groups in your prayers.

 Praise Report – Women’s Ministry!

The majority of the Christian ladies in the villages are not educated.  Because of illiteracy and poverty these ladies work at lowly and difficult jobs such as brick making and garbage and dung cleaning.  Women’s formal and Biblical education lacks in the rural areas because of the strict cultural problems, social pressures, poverty and negligence.  Because of culture and social restrictions, a male teacher for the ladies is unacceptable and the few Christian ladies who are able to lead and teach cannot move around freely and independently.  They must always have the protection of a man when traveling outside the home to prevent being looked upon as one with bad character, which could be very dangerous for them.  Women are also restricted in their ability to lead and teach because they don’t have the proper study materials and resources.

We are happy to share the great report about the Women’s Ministry. It is a long awaited answer to prayer!  We have started weekly visits to different villages where Farah teaches groups of women the Word of God.  She also has been encouraging them to meet regularly within their village for fellowship and to share the Word and pray with one another!   The groups are encouraged to create a Christian atmosphere at home and bring children up in Godly manner. We request your fervent prayers for Farah and Kiran (Joseph’s wife) who will be reaching out to these Christian ladies in the villages. Please pray for protection of all women involved and for the provision for the needs of this ministry.

Children’s Ministry ~ 1,000 Strong!

Great attention must be given to Christian children in Pakistan. They are under much social pressure within our culture.  Unfortunately, their poverty stricken parents are busy working hard to make ends meet and they don’t have the resources for study materials to teach their children and help them become strong Christians. CC Pakistan seeks to help as many Christian children as we can while the door of opportunity is still open.

We’ve had Sunday Schools in 25 villages, teaching 1,000 children, for two years.  The children are very happy for this ministry to them and they are being blessed and growing in their faith.

Please keep our Children’s ministry in your prayers.  Please pray for Joseph Arif who travels so much on his motor bike to bless these children by providing them study material, and encouraging the local Bible teachers to continue in their great work. Please also pray for the financial support to come in order to meet all the needs of this ministry.

Urdu Bibles ~ A Precious Gift!

Free Urdu Bibles for the poor Christian villagers is a permanent project of CC Pakistan. We’ve traveled near and far to reach the unreached people of the rural areas.  Some are so remote that we may not visit them often, but we leave them the Word of God which will bless and change their lives for eternity.  Thousands of people in many areas have received Urdu Bibles through this program. They are always so blessed and thankful for the  precious gift they are given!

We are thankful to you for supporting this project of CC Pakistan. The price of one Urdu Bible is $5.00.  We want to encourage you share the need for Urdu Bibles in Pakistan with your friends and also your churches so that more and more people may receive the Word of God in their lives.

Farah Begins Calvary Chapel Bible College!

My Bible College studies are going very well. Studying in the second language is a bit difficult for almost everyone, but I am really enjoying it. So many times it becomes a tough adventure for me because of power outage, internet problems, limited resources for reference study, but praise God that He helps me keep moving ahead.

My wife Farah desires to study “Biblical Counseling” in order to work effectively in the Women’s Ministry. We praise God that Calvary Chapel Costa Mesa has sponsored her to have this particular course from Calvary Chapel Bible College.  She starts her studies beginning June 1, 2013.  Please keep us in prayers, especially our needs of a new laptop computer and Logos Bible Software.

Family Corner

We praise God for His special grace and protection for our family. Our daughter Rachael turned 4 on May 2, 2013.  A few months back she started going to school and has proven herself a smart and brilliant girl in her class.  She has grown so much. What a big girl she has become!

Joshua will turn 7 on July 22 of this year. He is waiting for his birthday impatiently. They love to celebrate and receive gifts. Both of our kids really wish that they could celebrate their birthday every month. Thank you very much for keeping our family in your prayers!

See Rachael as a baby and now 4 years old! Time flies by so quickly when you are a parent. Soon our Princess will be grown it seems.
