About Us

Bond lived the early part of his life for the pursuit of money and all of the things that go along with it…cars, homes, and a lavish lifestyle. But, after attaining money at an early age he grew tired of the rat race of life and began to realize that the things of this world did not satisfy. His mom had prayed for him for years and had invited him to attend church with her many times. Finally, one morning he agreed and went to church just to please her. The Lord spoke to Bond’s heart that day, saying Jesus is real and that He loved him. Bond tried to prove the bible wrong so he would not have to believe what it said and through this process, he realized that the bible was indeed accurate and true and surrendered his life to Christ. He later attended Calvary Chapel Bible College in Twin Peaks, CA and returned to San Diego and served as a Youth Pastor, College Pastor and Assistant Pastor.

Heather accepted Christ at the age of 12 when she was visiting friends during the summer and attended a Vacation Bible School with them. From that moment on, she read the bible and longed to live a life that was pleasing to God. In high school, she began serving in children’s ministry and going on weekend mission trips to Mexico with her church. It was at a dump on the outskirts of Tijuana where people lived and made their homes from trash, where her heart was first burdened for those who are hurting and without hope. Heather graduated from Biola University in La Mirada, CA and it was during that time when she starting teaching bible studies and discipling the girls on her dorm floor. It was an amazing time of preparation for a career, but more importantly for the ministry.

Bond and Heather met at church and were married in 1999. Then in 2002, they planted Grace Chapel in Santee – a suburb of San Diego, CA. Bond worked full-time in the Demolition Industry as well as served as Senior Pastor. Heather worked full-time as a Marketing Director and served alongside of her husband in women’s and children’s ministry. In 2008, God began stirring in their hearts a passion to reach the nations with the Gospel and love of Christ. At the time, they had been leading weekend trips to Mexico for 15+ years, meeting physical needs with clothing, shoes, food and toys as a means to share the good news of Jesus Christ. However, their hearts became burdened to reach those who were unreached with the Gospel and to train up pastors and leaders in third world countries. They began to pray and soon realized that God was opening the doors for ministry outside the walls of the church. A new season of ministry began in their lives and since that time, God has provided opportunities to serve in Uganda, Tanzania, Kenya, Nepal, India, and Haiti.
