A Reason To Celebrate

The evening news is heart breaking, the days we are living in seem dark, there are natural disasters everywhere and it is easy to focus on the negative. But this month we are choosing to celebrate and give thanks as Psalms 126:3 it says, “The Lord has done great things for us, and we are filled with joy!”

Celebrating Graduates in Nepal

This month we were able to celebrate with many of the students that graduated from Calvary Chapel Bible College Nepal. These men and women have completed the two-year course and it has been an honor to teach and serve with them. It was bitter sweet as we have grown to love each of them dearly, but yet we know God has a great plan as they are sent out. For the 1,000+ hours that they have committed to studying, the dozens of outreaches they have been a part of, for the handful of missions trips they have been on and for the countless hours they have served….we celebrate the great things God has done in their lives!

One of the graduates is Rohith who is from a country in South Asia. He came to CCBC Nepal several years ago because there was no campus in his country and he desired to be trained in the Word of God. Though there were challenges along the way, he persevered and was given the “Servant Award” at graduation which is a testimony to his character. We are excited to announce that he is going to be joining us in January 2018 and serving alongside of us as we establish the new bible college campus in South Asia.

Celebrating New Opportunities in South Asia

The Lord knew several years ago that in 2018, we would be part of launching another ministry campus in South Asia. There are so many ways the Lord has gone before us and one of those ways was sending Rohith to Nepal to be equipped.  Now he is being sent from Nepal to teach, serve and disciple students in his home country and to plant churches amongst his own people. We are overjoyed at how the Lord goes before us in all things and for this we have reason to celebrate! We will be heading to South Asia in January 2018 and treasure your prayers as construction is in full swing, student applications are being submitted and classes are being planned.

As we celebrated Thanksgiving last week, we gave thanks to God for the amazing people He has placed in our lives. Thank you for partnering, supporting, praying and loving our family as we teach, preach, plant churches and share the love of Christ throughout Asia and Africa.

With Love From Nepal,
