One More Thing God Did

For the love of Christ compels us, because we judge thus: that if One died for all, then all died; and He died for all, that those who live should live no longer for themselves, but for Him who died for them and rose again. ( 2 Co 5:14-15)

Worth It

Visiting Pastor Raju

This past month, our Bible College staff all went to visit our recent graduate, Raju. He has started a Calvary Chapel Church. It was difficult for all of us to go to visit our brother Pastor Raju. We had to leave our kids behind in the city. We were also not used to hiking uphill at a high altitude. When we reached the top of the mountain where the village is, we saw a group of believers who hungered for the Word of God. We fellowshipped with them with great joy, and encouraged them to keep their faith in God and seek Him daily in His Word. The pain in our legs from hiking, and the altitude sickness were so worth it to be able to spend time with the church and encourage them in the faith.

The generous soul will be made rich, And he who waters will also be watered himself. (Proverb 11:25)

Pastors’ Conference

Pastors’ Conference

This month, we invited ten young national pastors (that we have been serving with) from all over the country to attend our Calvary Chapel Pastors’ Conference here. It was also a great time hosting our past graduates, who are now serving in ministry. We loved hearing from them the things that God is doing in their lives and ministry.

It was a joyful time to see the group of pastors being well fed with the Word of God and to know that they were each doing well. There was one pastor that visited from the east, who I taught Inductive Bible Study and the book of Genesis a couple of years ago. He was so encouraged to come and hear about what God is doing throughout the country.

“Then the righteous will answer Him, saying, ‘Lord, when did we see You hungry and feed You, or thirsty and give You drink? When did we see You a stranger and take You in, or naked and clothe You? Or when did we see You sick, or in prison, and come to You?’ And the King will answer and say to them, ‘Assuredly, I say to you, inasmuch as you did it to one of the least of these My brethren, you did it to Me.’ (Matthew 25:37-40)

Leper Colony

We shared the Gospel at the Leper Colony Together

We had a great time sharing the Gospel in the Leprosy Colony with our Bible College students. They were able to see people who are cast out from the community because of their illnesses. It was so awesome to tell the people there that even though their friends and family may have forgotten them, God will never forget them, because He is our Creator and He sent His only begotten Son Jesus Christ. We also got to see one of the older men again, Edda, who gave his life to Jesus Christ. We saw how God has given a great joy and peace in Edda’s heart. He is listening to his audio Bible everyday! Please pray for Edda’s family that they may come to Christ.

Thank you,
