CALVARY SCHOOL OF MISSIONS

The Vision

You may be wondering, what is the Calvary School of Missions? How did it start? What’s the purpose?

This short video answers all of those questions and more!

Training

Saving Grace World Missions will be hosting a Calvary School of Missions this summer in Rosarito, Mexico from July 6th to August 17th. During this six week school, our desire is to train and equip young men and women in full-time, cross-cultural missions in order to send them to reach the unreached people groups of the world with the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

Classes and training take place in Mexico from 7/6/20-8/17/20 and will involve multiple levels of hands-on and biblical training from experienced Calvary Chapel pastors and missionaries currently serving on the field on topics such as:

  • Cross-Cultural Missions
  • Church Planting
  • God’s heart for the nations
  • Biblical support raising
  • partnering with your sending church
  • Cultural Immersion
  • The current state of the unreached
  • Developing a care team
  • And much more!

Fine-Tuning

As a follow-up to the school, Calvary Chapel Saving Grace, in partnership with Saving Grace World Missions, offers a one-year internship to further train and prepare students for successful long-term missions. Five of our seven students from last year’s school joined our internship program and have seen the Lord do amazing things! The internship includes weekly Bible classes to further develop the Biblical knowledge of each intern, a vision tour with Pastor Trent to scope out whatever country the Lord has placed upon the intern’s heart, more experience and mentorship on how to raise support, and in-depth, hands-on training on how to start, run, and operate a church.

The internship program is versatile, able to work with your work schedule, and entirely subject to the Lord’s leading in your life. We currently have interns receiving training on the foreign field as well as interns in our home office. We are open and sensitive to the Lord’s leading for each individual and willing to work with you to create an internship that leaves you more prepared, more confident, and more developed in your Christian walk and your ability to step out into all that God has for you.

Cost

The estimated cost for the summer program is $2,300 and our students need the financial support of the body of Christ. If you would like to make a financial contribution to the 2020 School of Missions and/or donate a scholarship to one of the students, please click the button below:
