Ends of the Earth Ministries

In South Sudan:
Please continue to pray for the nation of South Sudan. Decades of Civil War have collapsed the economy, resulting in mass starvation and desperation. Hopelessness and violence run rampant throughout communities.

Pray for our 500 students that are being daily discipled in the love of God and His Word, so they may lead their nation Into a new season of hope.

Pray for the 75 children and young adults in our children’s home and for the Missionary parents that are laying down their lives to provide peace and unconditional love to these precious ones. Please pray for the new churches in the Tauso & Taposa villages. Pray that the pastors and medical staff will have the spiritual and physical tenacity to handle the countless challenges while living amongst Stone-Age tribes.

In Kenya:
Pray for the refugee students in our missionary training college in the Kakuma Refugee Camp. They are fasting and praying as they prepare to return to South Sudan to begin reaching cities across the border in North Sudan, with hopes to plant churches amongst Muslim peoples in 2020-21.

In USA:
Pray for the Missions Equip Training Programs. We are in the throws of launching two new schools this year.
The first – International School, will be used in Bible Colleges as a complete missions training course.
The second – Transformation, is a cross-cultural immersion training program, equipping missionaries to assimilate into their new culture while learning the language and world view.  Pray that God would continue to empower, envision and sustain us as we seek to establish nationally led, culturally relevant, biblical-based churches among unreached peoples.

Thank you for your prayers!

Yours for the unreached,

Gary and Tina Barrow – Truckee, California

FIRST PRAISE REPORT
The only Bible College that has been able to continue to operate during this Covid pandemic is about to start another semester. It is a small handful of students this semester since we are not taking new students due to the lock downs in that country.

We have a great line up of teachers teaching through Inductive Bible Study, Genesis, Exodus, Joshua and the Gospel of John. We also have an English class along with Systematic Theology, Practical Christianity.

Please pray for this semester. Pray that the students will see Jesus and be totally transformed. Pray that they would spread the word of God’s love and Christ’s sacrifice so that country would be won for the kingdom. Please, please pray that God would bring an end to the lock downs, giving the people a break to get back to life as normal. Pray that we would be able to return to minister to the students and the other ministries next year. I long to get back there and reconnect in person with the students and staff.

SECOND PRAISE REPORT
God has been blessing Calvary Chapel Truckee and we are growing in Jesus as well as numbers. Honestly, I don’t think I have been busier, but I’m not complaining. The Lord has been doing a very special work drawing new people to our fellowship, reviving body life after being separated for so long with Covid. He is also raising up men in our fellowship to take on more of te leadership roles. Tina’s summer book study was well attended and a great blessing to the women of our church. We have also started our first life group with plans of 3-4 more next session. It’s such a blessing to just sit back and see the Lord do the things that He has been doing. It’s been such a joy to serve this church.

Please pray for strength to meet the needs of pastoring this church, as well as the wisdom and vision needed. Pray that God would continue to draw people to us that need to hear the Gospel, people who the Spirit of God has been working on. Pray that our body would grow in love, one for another, and that we would be characterized as a praying, loving, Word of God focused church.

THIRD PRAISE REPORT
Overall our family is doing very well. We’re still adjusting to a new area. The boys are working and trying to break into careers of their choosing. Please pray for open doors for them. Recently Tina and I have been sick, NOT WITH COVOD.
Please pray for healing and good health. Pray for our marriage and family in general as there are many attacks as we seek to serve the Lord faithfully and without compromise.

We are so very thankful for your prayer support. I am sorry it has been so long since I have submitted a prayer request. It’s a measure of how busy we have been. PLease feel free to email me with your prayer requests also.

God Bless you,
Gary and Tina – Email Blog
