Ends of the Earth Ministries

In South Sudan:
Please continue to pray for the nation of South Sudan. Decades of Civil War have collapsed the economy, resulting in mass starvation and desperation. Hopelessness and violence run rampant throughout communities.
Pray for our 500 students that are being daily discipled in the love of God and His Word, so they may lead their nation Into a new season of hope.
Pray for the 75 children and young adults in our children’s home and for the Missionary parents that are laying down their lives to provide peace and unconditional love to these precious ones. Please pray for the new churches in the Tauso & Taposa villages. Pray that the pastors and medical staff will have the spiritual and physical tenacity to handle the countless challenges while living amongst Stone-Age tribes.

In Kenya:
Pray for the refugee students in our missionary training college in the Kakuma Refugee Camp. They are fasting and praying as they prepare to return to South Sudan to begin reaching cities across the border in North Sudan, with hopes to plant churches amongst Muslim peoples in 2020-21.

In USA:
Pray for the Missions Equip Training Programs. We are in the throws of launching two new schools this year.

The first – International School, will be used in Bible Colleges as a complete missions training course.

The second – Transformation, is a cross-cultural immersion training program, equipping missionaries to assimilate into their new culture while learning the language and world view.  Pray that God would continue to empower, envision and sustain us as we seek to establish nationally led, culturally relevant, biblical-based churches among unreached peoples.

Thank you for your prayers!

SOUTH AMERICA

Kilgus Family – Trujillo, Peru

It is been quite the year, but God has been so faithful through it all. In January we were able to baptize 13 new believers who had come to faith during the pandemic and quarantine. We also started 6 small groups throughout the city in February so people could have more intimate fellowship, and a place to meet when the government locks things down.
We also started a new semester at CBI Peru with 18 full time students from the USA, Peru, and Venezuela. They are growing and being discipled. We will have our first graduating class in November, and we are praying to see where God is going to lead them into ministry.

Peru has been experiencing lockdowns again, and they have been very difficult because things change every 2 weeks. The government will announce that church can open, but then 2 weeks later declare they must close. We have been closed 4 of the last 8 weeks with the restrictions flip-flopping every two weeks. Please pray for strength and grace as we continue to move forward in the gospel.

God did provide an amazing new facility for CBI Peru. A former resort that holds up to 80 students, and we believe God is going to use it as a hub for missions and church planting. We need your prayer because we planned to move on April 1st, but Peru announced a nationwide lockdown for Easter weekend to avoid gatherings and we wont be able to move.

Also, the government raised gas taxes and all the busses, truckers and land travel agencies have gone on strike. That makes moving complicated, and also make a lot of basic resources scarce as supplies are no longer arriving.

Prayer Requests:
1. Pray for the new believers, pray for the small groups, pray for the Bible Institute students and pray for many more people to believe in Jesus and for many churches to be planted.

2. Also, a special prayer request for my family. We hope to visit the states in June/July, but we need two passports for our children and the embassy has been closed. We need a miracle and an emergency appointment, but we have not been able to get an appointment after about 3 months of effort. Please pray as we need a miracle!

Thank you!

With love,
