Tests of Patience

We have returned to Brazil!

We arrived last week with many plans to hit the ground running, but that was not the plan of God. When we arrived, we found that the electricity and water had been shut off, literally cut away from the house and the water tube removed. It seems that the utility companies continued to charge us until December, and then they cut services. They admit they were making the amount used up because our meters were not turning, but they do not believe we were gone. They will not turn on the services until we pay all they say we owe.

Have you ever felt that your life was just one test of God after another? God loves us and cares for where our hearts are. He does not want us to get ahead of Him also. Our lives are filled with tests of patience.

We will go to the utility companies and try to negotiate so they will at least turn the services back on. After this, we may need to take it before the court system. We hope that God moves and gives us favor with the utility companies.

We moved back our plans to go to the village until the 2nd week of June. At the end of June and into July, we have a group that will stay with us for a few days.

Please pray with us about:
1) The utility companies.
2) The groups which are coming.
3) The trip to the Indian village.
4) A new missionary couple who arrived in February, Douglas and Lydia, and their two children, Jubilee and Ryan.
5) There are many other things, We want to dig a well in our back yard to illuminate the water utility, We still need to pay $5000 to get our House Title printed and in our possession, We have all picked up a virus upon entering the country, it’s like the flu.

God is good and worthy to be praised! Thank you for your prayers and support! I will update pictures soon.

God bless you,
Brad and Melissa Miller
