Summer Update

Praise be to God Almighty! He has answered our prayers with new problems this summer: so many visitors, groups, and staff girls that we have been challenged to house them and keep them busy. That is a good problem to have. It has been quite a quite a few years since we have had an entire summer schedule full of groups. We even accidentally triple booked a couple of times. Also for the last month we could barely find housing for all the girls who came for summer staff.

“Test me in this matter,” says the LORD who rules over all, “to see if I will not open for you the windows of heaven and pour out for you a blessing until there is no room for it all.”           Malachi 3:10

In light of how slim things had been for the last two years we never wanted to turn anyone away. We have been delighted to try to give everyone the best experience possible, encouraging them to continue steadfastly seeking and serving Jesus.

Not that we have dominion over your faith, but we are helpers of your joy; for by faith you stand.                II Corinthians 1:24

Let’s consider how to provoke one another to love and good works.

Hebrews 10:24

Things have slowed down a little bit. Some of our staff have gone back to home, work, or school. There are some scheduled to come and join us sporadically over the next few months. Please continue to pray that the Lord would continue to send laborers in the off season. There are still positions for 4 to 6 staff guys and two families available, and single staff are always welcome, considering that there is regular turnover from season to season.

We are definitely taking advantage of the opportunities available. We have been tackling many long neglected projects, but also we have been enjoying their involvement in our times of morning worship, devotional, teaching, and prayer times. Our staff and “the kids” have been encouraged and edified.

We want to take this opportunity to thank God the Father, the Son, the Holy Spirit, and His Body (those who believe in Jesus) for all the ways He has blessed us.
