Praise the Lord!

Blessed Beyond Measure!

The Lord is so faithful, and we are so beyond blessed by Him. As I sit here writing, I can hear the echoes of laughter coming from the darkness outside the house. The laughter of my kids, playing with some of the interns on campus. I grew up hearing the phrase, “raised by a village” and I believe that is true for our kids. These kids are incredibly blessed to be surrounded by so many young adults who love the Lord, and who are willing to take the time to pour into them. Could we as parents really ask for more? I don’t think so. I am blown away by the kindness of our Savior to allow us to serve on the Bible college campus here in Peru. What a joy to serve these faithful young adults and to get to see them serving those around them. I doubt that they stop to think about how the Lord is using them to shape our kids lives, but I know He is.

Trip to Lima – Conference – Residency

We recently got home from Lima from a leadership conference called, “Refresh” it was a blessing to be able to see so many old friends while we were there. During that trip, we finally got the last of our kids paperwork turned into the migrations office, and Lord willing our kids will all be residents within the next month.

Missions Trip to Cusco

April 27-May 5 we are going on a missions trip with everyone from the Bible college.  We will be visiting an established church in Cusco, doing outreaches, VBS, maybe some small construction projects, and evangelism. Please keep this trip in your prayers, as we are going with the whole family, and expect both blessings and challenges.

The kids school year recently started up, here we run from March until December.  Eva is currently homeschooling, and the rest of the kids are attending a school in town.  It’s a blessing, but also definitely a challenge as we take public transportation and need to be walking out the door with all the kids by 6:15 each morning. Please pray for us that God would give us patience with the many hours a day of travel time to get them to school. You can also join us in praying for God’s provision for a van of our own, which will cut down travel time significantly.
