Open Doors and New Opportunities

“These things says He who is holy, He who is true, “He who has the key of David, He who opens and no one shuts, and shuts and no one opens”:
“I know your works. See, I have set before you an open door, and no one can shut it; for you have a little strength, have kept My word, and have not denied My name.”

REVELATION 3:7-8

Hello family and friends!

I am praying that you all have been well and that the Lord has been revealing Himself, His faithfulness, and love to you all! I am beyond thankful for your continued support and partnership in reaching this dark world with the light and truth of Jesus Christ. In this last month, since being back from my travels, I have been trudging right along with my missions internship at Calvary Chapel Saving Grace. God truly is so faithful to bring open doors for the future and new opportunities for the present. I cannot wait to share some of these things with you all!

Joining a New Prayer Group

Something I joined about two months ago that as been a blessing to me spiritually, is a once a month prayer meeting for the national christians and missionaries in the South Asia area. Coming together with other believers to lift up our brothers and sisters to the Lord, to hear of their challenges, and also their victories in Christ has been very amazing and eye opening. I am thankful for the hope that Jesus is bringing to this region and ask that you also would be committing this area to prayer as God puts it on your heart.

College Outreach Evangelism

Another opportunity that I have gotten through my internship is to go to a local college and evangelize once a month with a group. It has been exciting and encouraging to see the Spirit of God at work in the hearts and lives of these students. Some are opposed to the idea of Jesus, but others are very open as they ask questions and consider the seriousness of what truth is and where their eternal destination will be. A few have even come to faith and turned their hearts to their Savior Jesus Christ. Many students we talk to are christians or go to church; there are even students that meet for Bible studies once a week. This has also been a time of personal growth in learning how to share confidently and articulately who Jesus is, why we need Him, and other truths found in the scriptures.

Region of the World on My Heart

If you recall a few months back, I mentioned that the Lord has been leading me to a specific region of the world. God has been so faithful to confirm this unreached area, which is Southeast Asia. This place has truly grown in my heart and I have loved researching these people groups, their cultures, and the languages. The Lord has even opened doors for me to interview and have meetings with missionaries in these countries, as well as talk with nationals. I am praying about possibly going to this area sometime in the fall and I’m so excited for what the Lord has in store for the future.

CSOM Leadership

God is so good and I am so grateful to announce that I am fully funded for this summer’s leadership position at the Calvary School of Missions. I want to thank each and every one who financially supported me. It truly means so much and I cannot wait to show you all the fruit of your contributions in just a few months as we make our way to Mexico.

  • Please pray for all my friends who moved to the Middle East, that the Lord will give them strength and grace in this adjusting season

Thank you for taking the time to read this update and for joining in on the work that God has called me to! It is such a beautiful gift to realize that the Lord doesn’t need our help in fulfilling His plans, but because of His love, He wants us to take part in spreading the Good News of Jesus Christ to the ends of the earth! I would greatly appreciate your continued partnership with me in prayer as the Lord continues to prepare me for cross-cultural ministry, as well as through financial support, if you feel led to give. Any amount of a one-time or monthly donation is an absolute blessing for future mission trips and eventually for being sent out as Saving Grace World Missions requires 80% monthly funding before moving to the field. It means so much to me, thank you all!

For His glory,

Macey
