King Jesus saved Rachel’s life at 19 when she was reading His words in the middle of the night. Soon after that, He called her out of selfish ambition, and she traded the pursuit of her own glory in an acting career for the pursuit of His glory among the nations. As she read His Word, it became obvious to her that the purpose of her life, as a child of the One true God, was to know Him and to make Him known, and Jesus has given her a heart to bring the Good News that He is alive to people who have never even heard His name. Now, she is serving with SGWM to get training in long-term international church-planting and disciple-making.
