Vincent and Melissa Aniku

Pastor Vincent grew up as a refugee and a soldier’s son moving around Uganda. God brought him back to his home after the war. He since has finished Bible College and married Melissa.

Melissa Aniku grew up in Southern California and felt a calling for missions. She went to Uganda in 2009 and is now a permanent resident.

Pastor Vincent is the Senior Pastor of Calvary Chapel Midigo and he manages of the Calvary football (soccer) team, with reaches out to the 90% Muslim area of Uganda where they live, disciple’s new believers and Muslim converts.

Melissa’s ministries are mostly within their compound where she homeschools her two sons, helps lead women’s ministry, and helps coordinate their children’s ministry of over 600 children. She also tends to the daily guests that come to the compound for prayers and discipleship and finds small jobs for those in need. Vincent and Melissa financially and spiritually take care of 13 Ugandan children.

This year God is providing for them to build a stadium for outreaches plus a library and community center to teach reading and writing to the adults who are illiterate due to war. This will be the first place of its kind in the area bringing the gospel and unity.

Pray for health and protection against persecution.
Pray for God’s provisions and direction.
Pray for interns that can train up locals and help Melissa with Zachary who has Autism.
